Melanth so happened to be on a mission. Helonia had taken over to ensure their hunting skills were of top priority. However, now it was her turn.
From the open Fall weather of Auster to the beginning stages of Boreas Spring. She wandered the many terrains until finally their arrival came to the base of a volcano. Melted snow patches littered the surrounding landscape. Leaving behind small puddles to be dried up beneath the Sun’s gaze. Not wishing to leave without taking a quick drink. Her tongue brushed the surface to scoop several gulps. The cooling liquid easing the thirst of her throat. It was only then that she began the ascending of the Cano’s base.
Toes spread to provide more grip as to not lose her footing. There were several spots where stone and rocks sat waiting to be found. Finding her way toward them with vigorous excitement. A shimmering stone, one she had not seen before, called out to her. Its reflective surface glistened as if to call Melanth closer. And she answered without hesitation.

The closer she got, the better she could see the different shapes of each stone. Some were quite jagged and sharp. Others smooth like glass. Then there were the ones which looked worn from weathering.
She couldn’t stop the feeling of interest from arising to the surface. Although it was soon interrupted when Spring winds carried to her another scent. A female. The perfume snapped her head from what she was doing in time to catch a single paw being risen and examined. Curiosity carried Melanth towards her. Wanting to know what had happened to cause the smell of metallic to taint the air.
In no time, she saw what had happened. The sight of blood did not upset her. It was only the matter of it not being cleaned appropriately. "Instead of looking at it. You should clean it. Unknown stones like these may cause infection." She too couldn’t help but look to where one of them lay cracked down the middle. Small drops of blood decorating that which sliced the woman’s paw.
