Now that Vanille had mostly recovered and settled from the treatment Azrael was testing on her, she was able to be more a functioning part of the pack despite the under lowly rank she was. In some kind of sick mind someone might have liked laying around all day, even with the thought of being used and thrown out. But she couldn't just stick around doing nothing. A part of her soul needed something to do, and if it was useful for the pack than that made her feel better.

Vanille was in a bit of greener clearings tending to some of the medical herbs that had been planted here for the healers to use in due time. She had wished there was more. She was considering maybe asking Azrael to take her out scouting if only because they had that... shared interest. Kind of. But it was easier to stay more reclusive. The pack was growing in ways that Kaino didn't particularly care for. No one seemed to have a brain in their heads around this place.
