Enjoying The Autumn Air

Autumn arrived in Auster and Nelu strode beneath the golden trees to a lake that ran along the edge of the grove. In addition to the lovely changing leaves were the evergreens, forever adding a rich color to the landscape. Nelu settled down by a pine tree as he watched his fire burn its way down to hot coals. Turning his attention back to the pine tree, he started examining it for places of injury when he found a spot where the sticky sap was leaking from the tree. Taking one of his finished bowls from his travois Nelu carefully set it down on the ground below the injury. Hunting around on the ground he found a small stick and took it in his jaws before carefully sticking it into the injury and gathering the sap into his bowl.
