Pit Stop

Noor pulled herself up and onto the shore of the barren island, she was panting, limbs shaking and her normally luxurious pelt plastered to her sides making her look quite a bit thinner than normal, though it was safe to say she'd probably lost a decent amount of weight since she'd started running. Practically dragging herself along the strange green beach the woman didn't make it far before her legs collapsed out from under her. Had she gone far enough? Would there ever be far enough? She could probably stop to rest though right? They'd have waited to chase her across a whole fucking ocean until they could do so safely. Unlike her, throwing herself at the mercy of the waves. It was honestly a miracle she'd survived... Though where she'd found herself didn't exactly seem promising. From her position on the ground there was little life she could see, only strange sand and barely surviving scraps of flora. She was blessedly and terrifyingly alone. At least as far as she could tell, all she could smell was salt water. It would probably be okay if she just slept for a bit right? Not that she was sure she could fight it either way, unconsciousness hauling her into darkness. "Speech" |
