Araxina was really starting to hate how much water there was here. Most of the prey lay in the lowlands of the sound. She was wondering what it would take to walk along the sheer cliff faces like a goat. Her little puppy paws clung to a shallow shelf against the cliff. Only a tail length above solid ground.

She was just stretching out her paw for the next shelf when she spotted a colorful Not Not sister. She was probably Maelstrom's sister!

"Hey! Hey you puggle paws!" She called out at them. She didn't actually mean puggle paws she meant purple paws, but whatever, it's the same thing. "Imma catch a goat! I bet you can't!" She taunted from her barely off-the-ground height.

Cressida spent most of her days patrolling. Not much of the reach between home and all that stretched from where she now stood held any interest. She was becoming bored. With only one sibling to occupy her attention, being the runt and lone female, it took time for Cress to really get any energy to do absolutely anything.

That fiery male had stripped her father from coming to further visit them. Her mother remained quite busy with whatever their Sultan had her do. It left nothing but a wandering pup.

Nose scented along the high banks of the river. Gentle sprays from the surface licking at the cluttered boulders beneath her paws feeling rather nice on her heated skin. Droplets effortlessly clutching onto her galaxy painted coat. It was when a voice yelled out that snapped her head t’wards Araxina. She’d seen the flammable pup around a few times. Her fur itself matching that of the large male who she now held a grudge against.


”A goat would kill you. Unless, you wish for an early death. Then perhaps I could use your coat for a future blanket.” Cressida shrugged. Her words filled with truth; however, a glint of playfulness leaked between each word. ”What’s your name?” Just because they were pack mates, didn’t mean she would just hunt with a stranger.

The other girl dared to tell Xina that a goat would kill her. She growled, and clambered up to the next ledge, scraping her powder white back paws on the wall of the mountain face.

"You wish!" She called out, no goat was gonna kill her! She killed a polar bear already with her mama. "Make you into a blanket." She muttered. The girl did have a pretty purple pelt. Playfulness did not leak into Xina's words, more like indignation and a snarl. She made to grab the next ledge but slipped and fell down the meter and a half distance from the ledge to the gravely ground with a heavy *HOOMPH* pushing all the air out from her lungs. Her legs flailed over her body and she struggled to breathe until she could gasp for a new breath. Coughing she stomped toward the pink and purple girl, passing a couple of tall spindly pine trees. It was all the girl's fault for distracting her. She coughed two more times until she could take an even breath. Her throat was sore and her lungs burned. This kid had a hard time breathing lately. Her paw slipped on a lichen as she approached the purple girl.

Finally, she glared, "I'm Xina." She replied breathlessly.
"Wanna get a goat?" She asked. Maybe the girl had a better idea of how to get them, but she wouldn't admit that. She tried looking around again for a better ascent to where she had last seen the prey. A tall waterfall gushed high overhead and fell further into the sound. Would goats like the waterfall?

This girl brought with her a ton of loudness. One being the moment she slipped and fell just short of where Cress currently stood. Gaze watching everything unfold. Step by step. Xina was what had been spoken. And to this, she slid her attention towards where the other pup had fallen from. Could it have been a roll of her eyes? Maybe. She didn't expect to be meeting another of the others here. Only knowing her brother and mother. So what harm would come from her simply making a friend?

Cressida simply sighed. "Cressida. But, I guess you can call me Cress." Ignoring the glare all together, she took her time to sweep over the area. Something she had already been currently doing. Except now it came with a very demanding female asking to hunt together. They were barely big enough to take down a full blown goat. A small one, perhaps. "They usually graze in areas with plenty of grass. Unless you want to try the ones who cling to the stone walls like spiders."
