Take me to the place where the white boys dance.

Soothing breathes as she worked her way along the bay. She was almost desperate for some company that fine afternoon. The sun was shining down on her back and her eyes were closed and then opened slowly once more. She soon arrived at her favorite spot, a rock along the bay that could sit two wolves comfortably. It offered a simply stunning view and she visited there whenever she needed to think. She'd been there a lot lately. ?owyn looked out, her dark tawny fur brushing against the rock as she rested on it, one of her paws draping off the rock into the soft and cooling water.

She took a deep breathe and allowed her eyes to close as she took in the scents surrounding her. A small smile reached her muzzle and she looked around. She couldn't help but wonder if anyone had noticed the slight change in scent. Had Pharos noticed or had he been too busy thinking, travelling and praying to the Gods? Birch noticed no doubt, but he knew that it would happen so that didn't really count. Did Aranya notice? ?owyn thought that perhaps she had been too caught up in recovering from Nuka's abandonment to notice and ?o hoped that it didn't reopen any wounds.

Had Ellis or Ian noticed? They were very protective of her, they all were. Birch was protective and sometimes he went a bit extreme but it just showed that he cared about her well being. She could ask for nothing more than him when it came to being in a relationship and being a mate with someone. Father, Smith, Warrior, Mother, Maiden, Crone, Stranger, I am his and he is mine from this day until the end of my days. The words were comforting to her, and they reminded her that everything would be alright.

Aranya's agreement with her brother might have been tentative, yet it was still the most important contract in her life right now. The structure, while undefined, was still there. The pale fae found herself clinging to it in her weaker moments. It still stung, moons later, and she hated herself for it. They had traveled together for no more than half a season! They had professed no love, made no binding commitment, and she knew all things must come to an end. Was this simply the winter of their acquaintance? It was hard to fathom in the intense summer heat. Still, despite her need to ground herself once more, Aranya knew that she must check in with her brother and his mate's pack every once in a while. Today seemed to be that day as she picked up on ?owyn's trail. She knew the woman only vaguely, but it didn't seemed to matter to the pale girl. After all, once upon a time she had been able to talk to anyone.

?owyn had been relaxing there until the scent of Aranya managed to find her way to her nose. She slid and sat up on the rock and then carefully stood up, being careful not to slip. "Aranya?" She asked with a calm and soothing voice as she jogged her way over to the woman, her sister-in-law. "How are you today Aranya?" She asked Birch's sister calmly. ?owyn was worried about her after she had been told of Nuka's abandonment. She did not know of their relationship, whether it be romantic or not, but she knew just by conversations with Birch and seeing Aranya that his abandonment had affected her greatly.
