the day just started; the wind crisp and cool in his lungs as he panted whilst trotting heavily over the terrain of the battlefield. he looked for a fight, as he usually did these days. there was plenty to learn and plenty to train for. his time was coming.. and it all depended on how fast he mastered his skillsets. eager to showcase his experience thus far, Érebos paused once he reached a flat plain. he howled then, calling for his destined opponent to approach with grit.

Who would be a better and more worthy opponent than his very own littermate? Enyo had begun to spend more of her free time in the battlefield. Enjoying the spars and bloodshed that came with it. She had even learned a few new moves, although most here seemed... to lack skill. Erebros was always a great fight, he knew Enyo best and forced her to change tactics. She knew him well and did the same. Each a blade, each the other's whetstone.

Today she would answer Erebros, haughty and bold as ever.

"Prepare yourself, brother! Fight like Father and Nike are watching." she would call out before charging forward to attack. Enyo would come barreling toward him in her extremely aggressive fashion. Attempting to crash into his chest and throw his balance off.

the woman herself dared to challenge him. and he expected no less. his tail gave way to a slow sway, excited to see her come forth. she called out, encouraging him in her own twisted way. it brought forth a surge of nervousness, remembering the feeling of having his parents eyes on him, waiting for the outcome. had he lost, he would be forced to pay in ways they saw fit. nike was merciless, and in a sense, similar to enyo with their cruelty. their degrees far outweighed his own sometimes, so he thought. she gave him no time to warm up as she was seen already galloping towards him at full speed. shit. she's huge and tall as him, dressed in plated armor like ones they had at home. witty girl, he thought silently. he's quick on his paws, sliding his helmet on and stepping the side at just the right moment. he dodges her body, swift as he turns to now come at her hindquarters. however, he is careful not to hit her with his horns on his helmet- instead he aims to slam the flatter part of his mask onto her flanks to create a large contusion there. hopefully it would knock her off balance. Enyo’s eyes narrowed as she barreled forward, her powerful limbs pounding the earth beneath her. She relished the thrill of battle, her heart racing with the challenge of facing Erebros, her equal in strength and stature.

But Erebros was quick, and just as she neared him, he slid to the side with the grace of a seasoned warrior. She snarled as he dodged her charge, but she had no time to recover before she felt the force of his helmet slamming into her flank.

The blow was sharp, sending a jolt of pain through her side, but Enyo gritted her teeth, refusing to falter. She stumbled slightly, the impact enough to throw her off balance, but not enough to stop her. With a growl, she dug her claws into the earth, using the momentum to pivot her massive body around to face him once more.

Her eyes gleamed with determination. "You’ll have to hit harder than that, brother,” she taunted, her voice thick with challenge. Without hesitation, she lunged again, this time aiming low, her powerful jaws seeking to clamp around his foreleg to pull him down with her.

she taunted him, always so chatty when she fought. pompous and arrogant a common show of display from his sister. and it would be her faulty end no doubt. he snarled, sneering his words while he pulled back from slamming into her. she wobbled, but not much else. "Careful now, I don't want to break your bones." he taunted her too. she was fast to direct at him again, this time coming for his limbs. and he lets her, sacrificing the move to get one on her in turn. as she clasped on his left forearm, Érebos snarled and went for her scruff, aiming to bite down where her fur was exposed. in such close proximity, he wouldn't let her get away so easily- or so he intended.
