His parents were home and recovering, as was Beauregard, thank the Divinities above for that. Their scents being within Polaris lands again brought him comfort. The winged male had been able to focus again on his training. He was two now. An adult… and it felt weird. He didn’t feel like an adult! But he supposed just because you were old enough to be one didn’t mean you magically had the maturity that would be expected alongside it. He was a little worried for his aunt too. He hadn’t seen her in some time, but with everything that happened he had assumed she wanted space. If anything was wrong he hadn’t heard about it yet anyway… but he supposed they did have Fenix who knew about healing, and Alexa was learning...

He had been laying by the creek when the sound of a huff caught his attention. Ears flicked back when his head turned and eyes landed on a brown bear that had caught sight of him. Its beady eyes glinted with anger as it roared. Oh shit! Gavroche scrambled to his paws, tail raising of his back dominantly as he snarled back at it. “Don’t give me that! You’re in OUR lands, sir!” It reared up on all four paws, roaring again. Gavroche snorted. Okay, so this one didn’t want to behave and just leave… so he was going to have to chase it off!

Fearlessly pouncing forward, the winged wolf dodged a heavy pawed swing for the beast and launched himself at its belly. Fangs sank in and grazed flesh as dexterous digits grabbed onto fur. He wasn’t a big threat to this ursine pest but he was going to give it something to remember him by!
