Flare had decided to check out the very strange events that had begun to ripple across the land. As he neared the strange spikes of this new territory, he caught the scent of prey. Hungry for a bite after the journey to get here, he started to hunt and track their scent across the strange landscape. Careful not to get too close to the spikes, or too far into the territory while his mind was on hunting.

The odd blood sun did not help him much with vision, casting a strange glow over the tracks in the earth. He had to rely mostly on scent to lead him on his hunt. With his Corsac fox behind him, the two of them stuck their heads to the earth and hunted.

"Speech"

He wasn't keen on leaving his slave in this hellish place but he needed to find them a meal. A now familiar scent crossed his nose and he followed it. Lo and behold the other charcoal male was hot on the trail of some ungulate. Those sprightly things would be a lot easier to herd and catch. What if they could use these strange spikes to trap one?

He smoothly joined the other, his nose up for the scent. He saw it, already trembling in fear.

"Rush it and trap it against one of these spires?" He suggested cooly, ready to take action.
