Standing still in the open field, Epimethius practically blended in against the tan grasses. He took a deep breath after making a call for a challenger, settling into his spot. He settled into a defensive position as he let himself become attuned to every shift around him. He would spar with anyone willing to approach him, excited to feel their skin underneath his teeth, and perhaps even taste their blood. Of course, he would offer them the same thrill back. He shook out his fur, shaking himself free from the jaws of excitement, he needed to stay calm, for now. He stared ahead of himself, ear flicking back as he listened waiting for an opponent to approach. "Talk"

he swiveled through the battlefield with one thing on his mind- fighting. his senses came to life, as his red eyes skimmed over the arena when they spotted a creature he wasn't so sure was a wolf. intrigued, the large male came to approach across from them. standing still, zeph called out with a stoic face, "lookin for a fight, dog?" he called out, his eyes narrowed and body tense with anticipation.

"Yes." Was all Epimethius said in response, as he lowered himself to the ground. Rolling his head upon his shoulders as he got comfortable, letting his back legs dig into the ground as he prepared to launch himself forward. But first, he took his time making sure all of his body was warmed up, and once he could feel the adrenaline coursing through his veins he was off. Charging towards the brute in front of him, teeth snapping at the black wolf's throat. Seeking to make a purchase and to hold on, his ears pinned against his head as he went towards his throat. He did not worry so much about his own, his neck was fatty and fluffy, a natural cushion thanks to the kangal blood that ran through his body. He was eager to taste the blood of his foe, craving to appreciate the rich flavor. No battle was perfect unless he could wind up with an ache or two the next day. a yes was given- promptly and with nothing else added. good, zephyros adored a concise response. nothing left away to dissect or understand- and watching as the other suddenly threw themselves at him, a wicked grin plastered on his dark maw. he couldn't help but be proud of the mutt.
they came fast, their jowls snapping the air as zephyrps bolted to the left, his body quick to lower then rise towards the dog's side in attempt to uppercut their soft underbelly with his teeth. snapping where they'd land, zephyros' ears flattened as he aimed to latch onto their back with claws if his bite didn't land.

Epimethius liked how this guy matched his energy, quick to the point. He wanted the battle and this man seemed to be ready to give it to him. He grinned back at the man, even as he sidestepped him. Instead of moving away from the bite aimed at his side, he slammed into it. Hoping to hit his mouth hard enough to snap it closed before it even had a chance to land a bite. And then the brute was grappling onto his back, and Epimethius glanced back at him, letting a sly smile grace his lips before he tried to slam his weight towards the brute. Aiming to tip him over onto his back, Epimethius would then bolt forward. Whether or not the brute had managed to stay on did not matter, he would make a quick sharp turn, before trying to once again come at the black-colored dire head-on. Jaws spread open, aiming to grab ahold of whatever he could and hang on. it was hilarious.. did this dog think they packed a punch? zephyros wasn't dumb enough to take their trick, never snapping down as their body buckled near his mouth. he may of been hungry, but not that senseless. and while the male tried to topple zeph over, it failed miserably. zeph's arm successfully landed and hung onto the dog's body, while he then used his weight to keep his grab both stable and secured. but the dog would then abruptly attempt to bite zeph, to which they did on his forearm- drawing some blood while zephyros went for their nape in the same moment.
