Nellie had gotten very busy, very quickly as she grew in confidence finding her way around the Hallows' territories. It was like her paws had a mind of their own when she set herself to an idea - suddenly they'd just start moving and she'd find herself wrapped up in her own little world in no time at all. The day was yawning to a close by the time she found herself in the Starlit Plains. A big, yolky sun was sinking beneath the horizon and coloring the sky the prettiest pink she'd ever seen.

Ionela hummed to herself while she worked, the constant little ditty she amused herself with. With spring in full bloom, the plains were various scrubby shades of mud and bright green new growth. Nellie didn't exactly like getting dirty, but she did love flowers, and today she was picking lots and lots and lots of dandelion. She'd brought a few supplies out to the field to assist her: a roll of coarsely spun, thin twine; a thin, wide sheet of muslin; and a leather pouch to carry everything home when she was all done. It had taken some time to find this thickly carpeted area of dandelions as it was hidden in a small dip in the land. Once she'd crested the little rise and seen the golden yellow explosion beneath, she'd let out a little cheer and slid down the incline to get to work.

Nellie started by gathering a small amount of dandelion together to begin practicing tying bundles together with the twine so that they could be hung to dry to make a tea she'd heard her sister talking about. It was supposed to help with swelling and possibly help someone sick fight off any illnesses a little better. Their 'mune system? Something like that. Ionela absorbed everything she was told, but it often seemed to come back in fits and starts when she attempted to recall it later. While she worked, she took care to prune off the lowest leaves and leave enough space for the little flowers to be tied together with twine at the stem. Any part that looked damaged or brown, Nellie trimmed or cast the entire plant aside if it couldn't be salvaged.
