The young wolfdog moved cautiously around the Serpent Plains, her pink eyes glinting with both curiosity and awe. The colder breeze of fall was carrying the rich scent of prey trails, each tempting her nose. She was hungry. She sniffed the air with her sleek, doberman-shaped muzzle, her young mind working to identify the tantalizing scents: rabbit, gopher, and something.. heavier. Maybe a deer? The rustle of grass underfoot reminded her to tread lightly; this place was named for its serpents for a reason.

Her muscles tensed as she caught a faint sound by the river's edge. Ears swiveled as Inferna crept forward on her belly, using the long grass as coverage as she prepared to ambush whatever it was awaiting her near the water.

Today the girl ventured out, beginning to feel much better than nights before. A smile plastered upon her facial features as soft rose like eyes scan the territory. A territory she never found herself within before. Strange new scents drew within her nostrils as ears twist upon that of her skull. Listening, watching as rabbits darted out from the under brush of small bushes.

The river not far off from where the albino girl stood, her tail swayed behind her. The grasses weren't as lush as the spring time and starting to brown and herbs were not favored from the overly too hot of summer time. A smile plastered upon her face once more as her eyes spot that of another not far away.

And honestly the girl didn't appear to be complete wolf either. Her paws carried her excitedly across the land. Almost missing her steps which she didn't calculate, then bam!, there she was rolling down a hill, chuckling softly. Her tail continued to wave behind her, shaking out as words fell from her lips. "I meant to do that." She giggled.

Inferna’s ears flicked toward the sound of laughter, her gaze catching on the pale figure sprawled at the hill’s base. The albino wolf’s pink eyes gleamed with amusement, and her snowy coat seemed to reflect the fading sunlight. For a moment, Inferna paused, her heart skipping at the sight of someone who looked… similar. A rare sense of familiarity stirred in her chest.

"You always hunt by tumbling downhill?" Inferna asked, stepping closer. Her tone was cautious but carried a rare warmth. Her own pale fur shifted as she moved, the longer fur of her curled tail catching the light in a way that mirrored the other’s while it wagged.

She giggled and laughed out, as birds flew into the skies around them. She allowed her tail to dance and wave around behind her as her paws reached for the skies, that is before Fairytale would roll onto her side and lay there for a moment. Her eyes tracing over the other who appeared to be colored almost similar to her own apperance.

A bright smile revealing sharp canines, her tail dancing around behind her. Flicking her ears, as curiously looking to the other. "Am....am I looking in glass?" She offered, her paw lifting to her face, shit her glasses. Glasses! Atreyu is gonna kill me.

Nose straight to the ground as she sniffed for her glasses, a sigh stolen as she found them and placed them once more upon her face. Then towards the other albino girl. "Are... are you me?"

She playfully play bowed, wondering if the other would mock to make Fairytale believe that she was looking at herself.

Inferna's once floppy ears seemed to perk at the playful wolf's antics, her cautious stance softening as her curiosity sparked, her own playful spirit easily catching the same flame. Watching Fairytale scramble to find her glasses, the wolfdog couldn't help but huff out a quiet laugh, her own pinkish hues catching the light as she shifted her weight closer.

"Glass? No," she replied, tilting her head slightly like a confused pup, her expression hovering just between amusement and bewilderment. "And, I don't think I'm you, unless I've gone completely crazy and my life is a lie."

When Fairytale dipped into a playful bow, Inferna blinked, her tail giving a slow wag despite herself. After a beat, she leaped forward and perfectly mirrored the bow, ears fully pricked forward. "Are you always this strange, or am I just lucky today?" she teased, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips as she gave a playful nip to start them off.

A ghost of herself. It had to be just that. Fairytale giggled out, as her tail danced around wildly behind her frame. She listened as she barked towards the unknown girl who appeared to be like her own mirrored apperance. Fairytale startled quickly as a playful nip was given from the other girl. A snort and shake of her cranium as her tail continued to dance around rapidly.

Fairytale yipped and then barked out to the stranger, before she sprang to tackle the wolfish looking dog with floppy ears. Hoping that her own attack landed with success as she didn't calculate it at all.

Her attention was stolen from the other to a chipmunk skittering across the kingdom's floor of grass. A devious smirk crossing her lips, as her tongue lapped at her nose. Nudging the other girl as Fairytale took a hunters stance. Knowing that the chipmunk would be too fast for her.

Inferna blinked, momentarily dazed by the tackle, though it barely moved her steady frame. A smirk flickered across her muzzle as she shook herself off, about to fire back a witty comment when Fairytale's attention snapped to the skittering chipmunk daring through the grasses.

Watching the albino stranger take a hunter's stance, Inferna felt her muscles instinctively tense. Her own hunter's instincts kicked in, her pink eyes narrowing as she tracked the rodent's erratic movements. "You'll never catch it alone," she murmured, nudging the stranger lightly with her shoulder. "Let's corner it."

She skirted to the left, circling to block the chipmunk's escape route. "Go for it!" she whispered loudly, her pink eyes locked on the small creature, ready to back Fairytale up.

The rodent was fast, Fairytale watching it dart this way and that. She looked to the stranger, a devious smirk crossing her lips. Maybe if they were quick enough they could get it. Or they worked together, with trust of one another. It wouldn't be much, just a small snack - something to hold them over until something bigger arrived or they parted ways.

She listened to the other speak out rather quickly, but almost in a silent manner. Her tail giving a swish with excitement. Fairytale ran, mimicing the rodents darting this way and that way knowing that it may just be a failed hunt, but couldn't blame the girls for trying! To be fair, Fairytale was always filled with adventure and excitement, never allowing to be brought down. If they failed this it was a lesson learned.

If they didn't on the other hand, they both got that of a little snack, sure as stated wouldn't be much but a little something. And Fairytale never tasted chipmunk at that.

Fern crouched lower to the ground, her sharp focus locked onto the chipmunk's frantic movements. Its zig-zagging path was erratic, but Inferna's steps mirrored its pace as she moved to cut off each escape. Fairytale's exuberance tugged a faint grin from her lips, though she couldn't suppress a low chuckle when the other albino girl mimicked the rodent's wild movement.

"Amazing! How did you know that would distract it? You're confusing it," Inferna murmured, her voice steady despite the excitement flickering in her wild eyes. She darted to the right, trying to anticipate the chipmunk's next move. It veered sharply, just missing her paws as she swiped at it, her claws raking empty grass. "Oh its fast, but it can't dodge us forever!" she added with ferocity, circling to close the gap between them once again.

Her curled tail flicked sharply as she adjusted her angle, her mind racing to plot the next move. Failure wasn't discouraging, it was a challenge. "One more time, I'm going to try to box it in toward ya!"

The other female was also quick upon her paws, her own path mimicing that of the constant zig-zagging. Her tail helping with her stability, waving and dancing around behind her. Fairytale's complete balance laying within her tail. Her twin harks splayed to the sides as they perked up listening to the low chuckle, which was almost silent against the rustling of under bush and grass.

Her attention was quickly drawn to the girl. A tilt of her skull offered, and honestly not knowing how to respond. "I honestly don't know. I thought I would try it out, I mean it works with other animals, especially birds." She smiled warmly as she moved quickly. Her smaller frame making it easier for her to dance.

"You are right, it can't dodge us forever." She spoke out as she watched carefully of the chipmunks next move towards that of the other girl. A smile crossed Fairytale's lips, a flick of her tail was given while she would slow down, giving that of the stranger time to get some of the excitement out. Fairytales eyes lowered towards the ground. Waiting patiently.
