big rock candy mountain

Odette loved tall places, so as she explored and wandered over the line of the Armada territory she was automatically drawn to the waterfall peak. She was well suited for climbing trees, but rocks and mountains were slightly different. Still, she was determined and as long as she watched her footing she didn’t stub her toes…. Too often.
The foliage was beautiful and changing rapidly, vibrant yellows, oranges, and reds were slowly taking over the deep green that was not the evergreen trees. Everything was beautiful, but Odette felt a bit lonely. She wished she had invited Cit or one of her cousins as she finally made her way to the trail’s zenith. A glorious sight laid out before her, the sun glittered in the falling water and rainbows appeared in the nooks and crannies before the crystal clear pools below. For the first time in her life, Odette wished she had littermates to enjoy this with.

Identification wanted to see the world, wanted to know everything taking place. Twin peaks shifted upon the womans cranium, so what was the best thing to do, paws set into motion, soon the woman was up near a large peak. Water cascading down, it was one of the most beautiful things. The tree's taking on gold, yellow, red tones from the once beautiful lush greens. While the large pines still held true to their colors, Identification remembered this place, seeing it as she went. She however wasn't here for just anything, soomething felt off. Something she needed to see too. Maybe to possibly calm her own anxious mind and memory. Her gaze shifting as she noted that of a creature that bore wings like a bird. Ones large enough to carry her to the top, she made it slowly and carefully to the top. Her paws carefully placed as he manovered to the peak. A smile and nod of her cranium offered. "Those wings are beautiful." Identification stated with warmth. "Tell me, what brings you up this far upon the peak today?" Fic smiled. Wondering if the girl was up for maybe a lesson, or even some information about the lands that lay below them, as the cream woman lowered down upon the rocks.

Odette didn’t have much time to look down and enjoy the scenery when she heard pawsteps behind her. She jumped slightly, worried that her Poppa or Daddy had followed her and were about to chastise her for coming out here alone. Silver eyes fell on the golden form of a woman that she did not know. Odette didn’t completely relax, but she did soften as the woman gently complimented her dark wings.
She felt her cheeks flush under her dark fur and fluttered her wings in response, revealing the galactic expanse beneath. "Thank you," she mumbled with politeness if not a little bashful. The she wolf went on to ask her about her presence here, but surely she didn’t know Ode had snuck out of the Armada. "Well," she paused for just a moment before completing her answer. "I like being in high up places, so I guess I was kind of drawn up here." The young girl explained. "It’s really pretty." She smiled softly, her moon-like eyes sweeping over the valley again. "Uh.. What about you?" She returned the question, trying to remember how her Daddy had told her to make polite small talk.
