Dead as a doornail

It was quiet. Almost too quiet. Aislin liked Sin, she wished to do much with him, and yet she couldn't find him the last few days. Sighing heavily, Aislin sat in the lifeless caverns, wondering if she may have made a mistake. As much as she wished to be queen, she didn't wish to be fooled into something that wouldn't go from a spark to a roaring flame. As much as she knew it would take time, she wished it would happen faster. Aislin hated being a loner, and she hated being alone.
Wandering the lifeless caverns, she scoured for food. Aislin hoped that perhaps there was something to eat in the cooler caverns with how hot it was outside. Summers were horrible this time of year and it was not her favorite time of the month considering. Aislin grumbled to herself as she found nothing inside the caverns. Instead, Aislin would travel to the islands. She remembered she hadn't been there yet and wished to go there. Hell, maybe she would even see Sin there. The smirk that developed in result of her thought made her want to move. On the way, maybe she would find food.
Traveling in the direction of where she remembered where the islands were, and knew she had a long way to go. Aislin along the way would leave scent markers in case if Sin caught a whiff of them. Maybe it would turn into a fun little game of 'hide and seek' where Sin would have to find her. Aislin thought it might be fun before things got serious.
About a half day later, and a few rabbits in her stomach, Aislin made it to the island and sighed at the beauty of it. It was hot. It was ridiculously hot, but the salt water felt goood on her skin as she dived into the shores. The salt sea and foam splashed onto her pelt as she swam out to the island like it was a little vacation of her own. Aislins smile remained on her face as she explored the island, the smells, and the different trees. The sand was so white, and soft on her paws. The black pelt she bore was definitely contrasting against the sand, and she wondered if perhaps Sin would be able to see her from a distance. Or maybe anyone else for that matter.
