If the raid had showed her anything it was that she still had a long way to go. Huffing her frustration into the warming spring air she shook out her coat, stretched once, then twice, the bones in her spine popping as she bowed down, extending her toes in the loose dirt.

Bones littered this place, some of them more identifiable than others. Well, she wasn't going to get better by just sulking about it, if the last year had been any indication of how well that worked.

She walked a circle, kicking loose stones and stray bones out of her way, she didn't want to be tripping when an opponent finally came along. Her owl hooted a warning, and an unbidden smile pulled at her lips. "Still waiting for the world to end?"

Björn⁢ is light on his feet, a spring in his step, and something terrible in his eyes. His first step on the road to conquest complete, there's someone missing. He wouldn't be leaving Mochi in the south, under her father's rule. It simply wouldn't do. He'd have her. There wasn't an argument here anymore.

Eyes narrowing as he crests a hill, wondering just how much attention he'd need to draw to himself. Not much, from the looks of her. Stars aligned. Björn⁢ makes his way down the slope, an easy, catlike grace taking him over. Closing the gap, an easy grin tugging at the corners of his lips. "Figure I'll have to bring it on myself, I think. You still want a friend for the end of the world?" His step is predatory, stalking toward her. Careful, though he's near to coming unglued.

A friend? He'd kissed her, and he was looking for a friend?! She scoffed and lifted her chin, but didn't fail to note the confident way he moved. Maybe she was out of her depths here, but she'd be damned if she was going to call for backup when she'd come here with a purpose in mind. Her eyes narrowed in a judgmental squint. "I'm sure you have more than enough friends." Unless her nose deceived her...

Her hackles rose defensively over her shoulders, her head dropping to protect her throat as he drew closer, a lip pulling back from her teeth in silent warning. She wasn't going to make it easy for him.

She scoffed, and Björn couldn't help but chuckle to himself. Slowly pressuring into her space, lip lifting to reveal his teeth. The rot prince tilted his antlered head, and wouldn't stop walking until he was within striking distance-- if she'd let him. Tightly coiled muscles, nails digging hard into the earth below. "Quality over quantity, and I did come all this way for you." Grinning, springing to life.

Björn is deceptively light on his feet, reaching to grab at Mochi's scruff. What's a little manhandling between a pair of teenagers? "You're coming away with me, I'm not leaving you to be married off and rot." Björn with his mixed motivations and massive ego, what could possibly go wrong?

Perhaps it was self-sabotage or maybe she really was just that arrogant that she let him get within striking range. Teeth clamped over her scruff and she angled her head to bite at his shoulder, the edge of her teeth catching in fur and loose skin. It would hardly be more than a pinch, but it was all she could reach with his teeth on the back of her neck like this.

His words shouldn't have affected her the way they did. Lost in a sea of siblings, she very much doubted her father had intentions to marry her off when there were much more... amicable options on hand. She snorted, "I'd only be married off as a curse,". Ame, her fox, darted in to grab a hold of an ankle and she realised the fox needed just as much practice as she did. She threw her weight into her shoulder, trying to break free of Bjorn's hold.

Brute forcing his way through this is his most comfortable option, though he can feel her teeth on his shoulder. It finds loose skin and dense coat, but Björn is spurred on by the pain all the same. Lifting a foreleg, it's in an attempt to get her pinned beneath him. The proximity is dizzying, gripping to the girl without fear of the implications.

Björn would have her. There's no argument, he's not taking no for an answer. As she shifts beneath him, his hold breaks, but the rot prince doesn't still. Continuing to throw his weight, pressing down on Mochi beneath him. Tiny needle teeth in his ankle, there's a growl in his throat. Pressure building across the bridge of his nose, blood beginning to drip from his eyes-- the picture of determination, for better or for worse. Like a dog with a bone, he's relentless.

"With me, you'll be more than that, more than you've ever dreamed." The words come as a low growl, a rumble, as close to Mochi's ear as he can manage. Every movement charged, Björn won't be easily shaken off.

He relinquishes his hold on her neck but the paw across her shoulder presses her down. He's heavier than she is and it isn't until her elbows hit the dirt that she realises just how much of a disadvantage she is at. She can feel is dexterous paws in her coat and she fights the urge to just give in. It could be so easy, he'd look after her, right? But was that really what she wanted?

No. Not like that.

She pushed back to try and break free of the hold, claws scraping against the earth, throwing what little weight she had into trying to knock the other yearling off balance. "More than a friend?" She challenged, if her weight couldn't throw him off balance, maybe her words could.

The words ring in his ears. With a rakish grin, the rot prince leans down to kiss her. Rebuke him if she wants, but it's a move appropriately bold for a boy so unhinged. "What do you think, sötnos?" She's a smart girl, she can put that one together. Rakish and possessive, the boy has exactly what he wants.
