The sun burned down with intense heat, drying plants and the soil, sucking up any moister it could. Even with a pelt of black and dark browns the woman could not feel it. She felt so cold, so empty. Sky blue eyes stared straight ahead as she wavered to the place she had first shared with her missing husband. She felt so broken, all the hope and dreams had been washed out then dried like the plains here to a crisp. One touch and she could crumble into dust and blow away. Where had he gone? Why did he leave her? She had thought things were going so well. They had even talked about starting a family.

Paws stopped outside a den, more like a small cave along the shallow creek. She stood there and stared into the den. blinking, not wanting to really see it empty. But no matter how much she wished it, it was empty and cold. It no longer held the warmth it once had, no longer the scent of Cael and her. Lips pulled back in a snarl as her head tucked down to her chest. Ears laid flat back against her skull as eyes closed. Tears rolled out, shoulders hunched forwards. A strangled cry and growl surged forwards from the pit of her stomach. All the emotions flooding out like a river too full for its banks. The pain, the hate, nothing could be good or safe. What kind of world to we live in!? She hissed out through clenched jaws. Head lifted slightly to look back into her den, or what used to be her den.

It had been here she had met Cael, had fallen in love. Here is where they had decided to make this their den. They had trained together, been through war and being chased from these lands with their pack. But where was he now? Had she done something wrong? She could not help but think of her time back in her birth pack. How she had gone through nearly the same thing, losing her love. She slumped to the ground in a heap, her strangled cries of agony and despair echoing around her. There is no end to the cruelty of this world!

Everyone wants something. Aella's "father's" words echoed in her head like a wormy little melody. Despite her current resentments, Hades' advice had burned itself into her instincts forever. Thinking of that beast only made her feel irritable, but he had taught her many worthwhile lessons. If I ever see him again, I'll have learned a few tricks of my own, she vowed to herself. At the moment the Tenebrosi woman wanted two things: information and food. She set about searching for the second, knowing that the first thing usually came by rather serendipitous means.

She was relatively new to these lands - little more than a lone wanderer. Far enough away from home to escape the spectre of the family name - hopefully anyway. Far enough away to start anew. And that was what she planned to do - but first she must fill her belly! So she let her nose and her instinct guide her, until she found a wide flat grassland that smelled of prey. Deer.

Mouth watering at the mere aroma, the ivory and smoke lady sank into the grasses, quiet steps carrying her though the unfamiliar plain. Her eyes flashed and her ears quivered; her senses were on high alert. For several moments she encountered nothing, except for a startled and indignant bird. The sun beat down upon her back, but she refused to be so easily daunted. Her alabaster pelt was not a perfect camouflage for the place, but nor did it stick out like a sore toe. In fact it kept her rather cool, relatively speaking, and her paws could cover miles and miles.

She had covered quite some distance, weaving through the grass, when a sent came to her on the breeze. Curious, she ventured closer to the other she-wolf upwind. She made sure to walk with furto, as Hades had always instructed. Stopping short distance away, her ears tipped forth to catch a sound. A voice. She could not make out the words, but they were pronounced with a low hiss that plainly said not to approach any further. Aella sighed for a beat before calling out, in a polite and inquisitive tone, "Hello? Is everything alright miss?"

The gods would guide her paws, that was what they were telling her. She had been trying to venture farther and farther out of the borders, considering she couldn't be afraid to be alone forever. She did need someone by her side, simply because she was small and not a wolf, but it could wait. The brindled tiger dog made haste across the land with the sun beating down, heating up those odd stripes of hers. Her bounds would be interrupted by the sound of sobbing, and then, by the sound of another responding to that sobbing. The neon pink eyes of the small creature blinked, stopping in the distance far enough to where she was able to see them but they would possibly not be able to see her. She had learned she needed to be cautious considering she was smaller and the wolves could rip her to shreds in moments. She still had no recollection of her memory, but by experience, she was now trying to keep herself from breaking into tiny little pieces figuratively.
Crouching low, the dark brindle made herself get closer. Her ears perked, fluffy tail cocked behind her, ready to run if she needed it. Her coat didn't exactly help to keep her hidden, but her size certainly did it's job. Only standing at twenty inches had its perks, if not any at all. Though she was curious as to what was wrong with the blackened female, was she hurting? On the inside it would be harder to console after all she wasn't sure how. Tankyu-sha wasn't exactly the best at consoling even with her brave kindness. She was well adaptable since her amnesia. And it was something she didn't want to get rid of. The tiger dog couldn't imagine what would happen if she remembered any family, if she would be sad over it.
With a sigh, she decided to make herself known but still stayed cautious. She was vulnerable out here, no one from ludicael could help her. "Excuse me, are things alright here?" she asked, a good question as any. As she stayed low, her tail and paws ready at any moment to escape snapping jaws to tear her apart. Her Neon pink eyes went from the white, to the black, and she frowned slightly. It made her sad to see others sad honestly, knowing she couldn't help them with her lack of the doubt. Not to mention, she wasn't quiet sure what could really bother a wolf. They were large and powerful creatures from what she had seen so far.
