Sharpened claws and tainted paws stepped again onto grounds that were so familiar, it might as well be his second home. Sin had grown restless as of late, and wanted to stretch his muscles in a friendly game. Sin climbed atop a large boulder, the top flat and smooth for him to get a clear view. He kept all senses alert, as always. Eyes constantly scanning, ears always listening. Nothing ever was able to sneak or ambush their way to him. He was simply too cunning for fools who attempted.

Tilting his head just slightly, he let loose a call he was sure many would hear, but only meant for one who was brave or foolish enough to answer his call. Anyone else that showed would be chased away, for this was just a time for the testing of skills against whoever was worth his time.

Baldur had taken to strolling the battlefields on occasion. Namely to cool off after the emotional shit storm that was dealing with his family, in particular Hati. He had so much pent up rage toward the brute but he didn't know why! He could pick at little things but the main reason, that defining reason, still eluded him. After bringing Hati to a healer, Baldur had promptly left to find solace in the act of battle. To force his mind to shut the hell up and focus on his body and that of his opponent.

A howl caught his attention and he turned sharply west to answer it. He was more interested in those that called out rather than those who waited for someone to chance upon them. Baldur made no attempt to mask his approach. What was the point in this barren land? Further more Baldur was more interested in head to head challenges. Sneak attacks and cheating were more Loki's style.

Baldur's potential opponent was easy to spot, another white wolf stained with blood. How long had he been out here? The other brute carried the stench of wolf blood but that was to be expected, the whole battlefield stunk of it and Baldur would not allow that to phase him. He grinned, staying close but just far enough away that the other would have a difficult time leaping off the rock and onto him. Shoulders rolled forward as neck scrunched back. A forest of snow white fur and hackles raised and bunched in spikes as sleek ears buried themselves in the nest of fur. His tail flowed parallel to his body as Baldur's stance widened slightly, weight balancing out across his limbs as steely muscles bunched and coiled in preparation. Baldur's toes splayed as his claws dug into the earth. Porcelain head tipped slightly foward as his jaws opened in a snarl, knitting his brows.

"I'm Ready" There were no need for lengthy speeches or declarations. The brutes were there to fight and fight they would.

With mild curiosity the earthen woman would weave her brawly chassis towards the beckoning of war, features eerily void as firestone gaze would find itself half-heartedly resting upon the pale form of her elder brother. Baldur, perhaps one of the only within her family who were far easier to get along with; likely due to the dwindling sense of sanity only he seemed to so clutch. It seemed he would square himself, preparing to battle a pallid man, patent by the foul presence of blood-like markings. She would come to stand a comfortable distance from the duo, prepared to aid her brother if ever it was needed. Even if he insisted it was friendly, Eyfura was always talented at ruining youthful fun with her over-serious state of mind. Quiet plainly, she believed herself a guardian of the health of her family, and no stranger would spoil her purposes. ?Good luck brother,? and she would settle herself to watch.

The Battlefield was a place Odette had only been to once. When Chrysanthe was challenged for Valhalla, her daughter obediently followed without being told. The faded scents of wolves before her still hung in the air, but what killed her nose the most had been the blood and flesh that had been left to decay. She had wanted to gag, but she thought of the earliest memories of Gargoyle and how he seemed to have an iron stomach kept her from doing it. The memories from the beginning of her life flashed before her eyes and she held onto Gargoyle's face as she walked towards the famous Alacritis landmark.
Upon reaching the battlefield, Odette's stomach clenched from the stenches of past fights. She raised her eyebrows when she saw two males she had met in passing: Sin and Baldur. They were sparring? This would indeed be an interesting battle. Odette didn't say a word to either men or the brown female that had come to (obviously) support Baldur. Instead, she reclined to her haunches a good distance away and lowered her upper torso to the cool ground. Red and blue eyes remained opened to watch the spar that was about to unfold. Perhaps she would learn from these wolves for her own future practices.

Spying Eyfura, the brute made a beeline for her. He'd followed Baldur for some time and upon reaching him, was excited to see that his younger brother had taken up a challenge. It would do him some good, Thor was sure, to vent his pent up aggression. Their family had a way of doing that; making someone so tense and angry they just wanted to explode. Out of all the ways he could settle himself, this one was one of the best. The burly brute himself was feeling more than a bit tense, although for whatever reason he desired to let his frustration out quietly, which was so far from his normal way of handling things that he half wondered if he was coming down with something. Perhaps he just wanted to try something soothing and not be such a beast for once. Whatever the reason, Thor wasn't entirely sure what he was looking for as a release. He had no idea where to begin; all his life he'd been taught and molded around the belief that war solved everything. Now that he was free of the pack and finally branching out, he honestly didn't know what to do with himself, knowing only that he wanted to do something different.

"Eyfura," he rumbled, announcing his presence as he came up behind her. The brute found himself smiling, and a little digging around within himself confirmed what he so readily spread across his features: he was sincerely pleased to see his sister. What had happened when they'd all reunited over Hati's body was behind him. His temper had cooled and even though he remained somewhat tense from the whole ordeal, Thor was in a decent mood.

The brute lay down beside his sister and fixed his gaze on Baldur and his opponent. He couldn't begin to understand her serious ways, so even though he'd readily speak to her, Thor wasn't about to initiate a discussion. Being satisfied with her presence alone, he would accept her silence just as readily as he'd accept her conversation.

Movement out of the corner of his eye briefly drew Thor's attention to the other spectator, but sensing nothing alarming or extraordinary about the young girl, his gaze quickly darted back to the contest. For a brief moment his mind was occupied with questions about her presence, but he just as quickly abandoned them. It was none of his business.
