Sin Armada

The beast stepped out into the lands in the peaking dawn. The sun had not even risen beyond the horizon when he began his trek to these parts. He always started his work early, never missing a thing during his patrols. If trespassers came onto their lands, he would be the first to catch them in this area. He had left Arietta back in the den, unwilling to take her along right away, as he wanted his moment of solitude. As it was, he was still not used to having company for long periods of time, and it might be something that would take him a while to get used to.

The crimson beast slithered underneath a low hanging branch, the woods here were tall, seemingly reaching towards the sky above. He started to climb onto another branch just as low as the first, and in a short amount of time he was easily climbing up the dense trees; sharpened claws finding easy purchase upon the rough bark. He stopped midway up one pine, amber gaze scanning the view through a gap in the branches. He could see a vast expanse of this part of the territory, easily able to spot trespassers and prey alike. It was here that he would train Arietta today. Take her on a patrol and perhaps do either hunting or physical training. It was time she learned something, and if he needed to be a little rough then so be it. Jaws parted slightly to give a summon specifically and only for her.

Arietta had, as Sin left for his patrol woken briefly from her sleep, drowsily watching him leave. It wasn't uncommon for Sin to leave the den before the sun even began to rose, and spend time away from her. But he would always come back, giving her company and bringing her food. She had grown accustomed to this type of schedule he had with her, relaxed when he was with her, though a bit more edge when he was not. Glaciem was, ever so slowly, becoming a home to her. She was getting used to the scents of the other wolves, of the territories that she would sometimes set out to explore, though only for short periods of time. But all the same Arietta was growing used to the way things were now, and she was, in her own way, growing stronger for it. She didn't cower any longer, nor react to the land and the strange scents of her packmates with fear. She still expressed a bit of caution, but day by day she was slowly growing bolder.

She had even met a younger member of Glaciem. A pup, one of Sin's brother's. He had been an adorable little male, and his presence during the fall of ash had given her comfort since Sin wasn't there. She had greatly appreciated his company and hoped to spend more time with him at some point. The realization that she needed and could actually interact with others had come to her, though she hadn't yet pushed for it. Something within her told Sin was planning something for her and until she figured out what it was she didn't want to do anything that might mess with his own plans. So instead the female waited as patiently as she could for his plans to be revealed to her.

She had dosed back off, though when she heard his summons Arietta forced herself to rise. Pushing herself from sleep was never an easy task, but she didn't want to keep her mate waiting. She would shake the sleep from her body, blinking light blue eyes several times. Her relationship with Sin wasn't exactly the normal one two mates would share, especially when one considered their meeting, but part of Arietta was actually very glad he had claimed her. She found happiness in being with him now, and she was learning some new things.

Leaving the main densite behind to head towards the woodlands. The trees were incredibly tall, reaching to the heavens, with some branches lower to the ground. The female would move along, ears perked forward, eyes scanning for an signs of the crimson stained brute. The female would frown slightly, starting to look up towards the trees above. The call had sounded a bit... strange. Like it had come from a height above the ground. Sure enough she would eventually see the white, blood stained coat of Sin part way up a tree. She would pause below, certain he had seen her, her tail wagging a bit as she let out a bark of greeting.
