A Home....Perhaps (Joining)

Isabella had been in the lands of Alacritis for some time now and she had met many wolves. She felt a need she didn't necessarily want, the need for a place to call home and to be around others. It was a need she had ignored for some time but that was rather impossible with her new companion Alphonso on her head or shoulder chattering away in her ear. "Come now Madam Izzy, a home is what you need, you have a pack before you like yes?" he asked for the hundredth time. After picking up her new friend she had shared much with him and he with her.
"I know I liked it, even if I didn't get close...truly close to any but my Alpahess. Yet they ended up leaving me." The fox colored female said in her cold controlled voice as she neared the edge of a forest. She could smell other wolves from here, it did not smell of a large pack yet it smelled of an active one. She had no desire to join a large pack, nor one that would force members to stay. No, she wanted a pack that did not put power above all, saw blood as the way to live or was anything like home. Those and other things held her back, including the fear they would all leave her again.
"Funny though, I would have thought you'd go for a pack near the Ocean."Al said tapping her head with his tail a few times and getting her mind out of a colder place. "When I am there I act different, quite different. I don't want others to see me in such away unless I trust them. Besides, I like to be there alone." Al gave a small grunt and moved back to her shoulder to hide within her fur. "Understood, go on." He called before falling silent. That was Isabella's idea, something they had discussed before, he would hide for now should the others seem in the mood for a snack.
This was it, holding herself like every, head high, ears up and tail up. Though after a bit of thought she lowered her tail to be even with her spine, she was asking such a grand thing after all it would be counterproductive to hold herself as she always did until she knew of those around her. Lifting her head up she paused, her icy eyes looking into the sky thinking hoping that this would have a good result. Closing her eyes she howled, a solid one note howl that was like a chill in the wind.

Once again, Basilisk Saxe was becoming strong. Not just in body, but in mind too. He was growing content among the wolves here, though remained guarded, unable to be lulled into a false sense of security. His mind was growing steady and calm, no longer blooded by the pure lust for revenge and for blood. Tortuga had changed him, albeit only marginally -- Deteste had taught him control.
Though he often kept to himself, the scent of a stranger was something he would not ignore. The massive brute would weave effortlessly through the redwoods; having been re-familiarized with them, he knew them now as well as the back of his own paw. His nose wrinkled and his ears would swivel on his head as the sound penetrated the heavy forest air, calling to him, begging him to answer. And so he would, loping forward quickly, coming to a halt when the stranger impinged on his vision. She stood tall and bold and he found himself wrinkling his nose as he approached, ducking behind a redwood before appearing on the other side.
"The forest..." he began, his deep vocals as icy as her gaze. "It speaks to you. But why?" He was growing content here among familiar scents, even though he had not met all of the wolves here. Would he let another in so easily? One he did not know?

Moving forwards silently, the girl stood beside Isabella. She stared at the male before answering softly.

OOC: If Isabella joins due to an OOC agreement with another (no spoilers)it will be temporary.
The scent of another came to her before the sight. Turing her head she waited for the other, an extremely large male wolf to come into view. The darkness of her fur reminded her of a raven, though the white tips were rather different. His question was a fair one, spoken in a voice that reminded her of himself. "A wolf who can control his emotions? This pack is looking good already."She thought, thinking of a honest yet powerful response.
She opened her mouth to speak but before she could another joined her, a younger female who stood beside her. A dangerous thing to do, not that she was a threat but a wolf that joined a stranger putting focus only in one in front of them? Not the best move in the world. Looking at the female a moment she took in her traits before tuning back tot he question at hand.
"The scent of a pack it what draws me here. A small one. I care not for packs with too many members to count, there is no sense of family there. However, weather or not the scent shall draw me further in, should I be aloud to go further in, depends on the ways of the pack." Blunt and direct she did not waist time on idle chit-chat. She did not give her name yet either, as the male did not give his or ask for hers. Keeping her eyes on him and her ears on the female she mostly disregarded she waited for one of them to speak. As she waited she felt Alphonso move a bit on her back. She gave no signal for him to come out yet, she figured it best to have her own introductions addressed before having the others see him.

Compose was not something that came easily to the brute, and yet he had become adept at keeping his emotions locked inside. No more was he a snarling boy, but a man; if only his father could see him now. Would he be proud, he wondered? Only briefly did his thoughts stray to Kaios, and when they did, he would outwardly falter -- as he did now, revealing the pearly whites of his fangs for a moment, before his sneer disappeared.
Before the woman he addressed was able to speak, another approached alongside her. A stranger to her, it seemed, and she parted her jaws to speak. she claimed she was a brother to Ritsuka. Though she had spoken quickly, she did not seem overly rude; he would hold his breath for a moment, pondering, before exhaling gently. It was bold to speak so freely, with such a grand request. "Fine," he would answer Blizzard simply, only the faintest hint of a growl in his voice. "But remember your actions will reflect on your brother as well as you. Don't do anything stupid." She could go, and he nodded approval, turning toward the other woman again. She had waited her turn to speak, and he was ready to listen.
"We are small," he agreed with her observation. "But we are strong." Determined and respectful, even despite all of their flaws. "We accept members who will contribute and hold one another in high regard. We value determination and passion." They were not a soft-hearted pack, but they had great potential.

The girl nodded at the wolf, wagging her tail slightly as she moved into the land of her new pack, green eyes gleaming as her white legs carried her slowly into the land. Although she was excited to see her brother again, the girl was silent, and listened to the chirping of the birds, and how they sang their songs without a care in the world. The girl spoke to herself quietly, now raising her head so that she could catch glimpses of the birds. When she was younger, a pup, Blizzard hadn't cared to listen to the birds, or pay any attention to them at all. Maybe she had changed, more than she had thought. The birds sing, not worrying about tomorrow, or what it will bring. After saying that, the girl continued, but kept her ears pricked, and walked silently, so she could hear the songs that she would love so much later.
