Regarding Characters
Can you join with a character automatically in a pack?
The way our system is set up, every character has to be accepted into a pack via. an in-character thread, so the answer would be no. The only exception to that rule would be if your character was born into a pack, then you would not need to be accepted.
How does my character join a pack?
This all happens in-character. Feel free to have your character directly approach the borders (using the pack lands), or they can even be claimed or recruited from the Battlefield if you desire.
Fight System
Can one challenge to disband?
No. You can disband a pack through a siege, but not by an individual. If you claim a pack and then fall inactive, it will only be disbanded if it is not claimed within a week.
In spars, do we need to include a summary at the bottom of posts with attacks, defenses, and injuries?
Nope! This is not used for judging, but rather as a good way for players to summarize their posts, both for themselves and their opponents, but it is not required. You do, however, need to include the round of the fight that you are on! (i.e. Round 1 / 2)

Is it possible to PM multiple people at once?
Edited: The new site allows you to PM up to three people at a time.

What if someone is inactive and I want to use one of their names for my character?
If the player is no longer around and hasn't been for a year then we can allow you to use the name without permission. In instances that a player is still around then it would be a case of asking them. Some have characters inactive only for a while and plan to bring them back, and deceased characters can still posted but only in Somnium.
Can gems from inactive character accounts be used to make purchases?
Yes!
"Living characters can only interact with deceased characters they have met before or are related to." Does this rule apply to characters that become related through marriage or the taking of mates? Or is it strictly a blood relation that enables them to meet?
Blood relations only unless they had previously met. That means no adopted family that they never met either. Sorry!
What sort of items can be made in terms of crafting?
Crafting with a realistic wolf character is going to be an exercise in creativity. As long as it is something a real canine could do if they had human intelligence, it is allowed. As far as what the characters have access to, we again ask that members use their own creativity to come up with what might be found or made. There are many human-places on Ardent that do in fact specify that human relics can be found there, and since we allow human relics such as collars and jewelry to be used as accessories it is reasonable for members to assume that other items can be found throughout Ardent without needing to be specifically stated.
