Large paws kissed the vast plains, the sky overhead somewhat clear but with little cloud cover. In the distance, darkening skies rolled with the storms that were causing mayhem in other areas. Atlas had surveyed the lands, studying the patterns of the clouds and the water of the sea and made haste to safe places. So far, he had been lucky enough to remain out of the storms destructive path. Many herds of prey animal had gathered here, seeking refuge from the storms haunting the forests and mountains of other areas. Perhaps they weren't such dumb creatures after all. The large beast sat upon the verdant green grass, the stalks towering towards the air as they gently waved with the breezes carried over by the storms in the distance. She had set out to explore the lands once again, fortunately ending up in safety as the storm clouds rolled in and began to terrorize other areas of the continent. She strode alone through the tall grasses, enjoying the feel of the wind against her sides and the smell of the stormy air. It was refreshing, making her feel cleansed and allowing her to release her anxiety, if only for the moment. The winds would bring another scent to her nose and she would smile at the familiarity. Approaching the brute she would bark to notify him of her coming and stop only a few feet away. She had not yet seen Atlas in Amenti and wondered what his plans were, but formalities first.
