He hadn't spent time with his Uncle Anthem in quite awhile. Even though he hadn't sought out the man when he was a pup, he knew he had to try before it was too late to not do so. With that in mind, the newly made Alpha walked through the woods of his home, looking for his estranged uncle. He had a stick or two in his mouth, causing him to salivate around the wood with each step. He remembered his uncle liked things of nature and maybe, if he brought something with him, it would be a good start...or just awkward.
Anthem knew little about pack politics -- let alone that Dhiren was the one in charge now. He had never had an issue listening to his siblings, or even his cousins or nieces or nephews. Family was family, as far as he was concerned, and he was happy so long as they were near.
There was a fair bit of surprise at Dhiren's sudden arrival. He was used to the company of his siblings, but the presence of their children wasn't quite as frequent. Upon seeing him, a wide smile would spread on Anthem's gentle features, a vigorous wag quickly shaking his tail side to side.
