OOC- figured he was still too young to travel to far, so this will take place some distance from the border ^^

Boredom. It wrecked havoc in her world, putting her on edge. It had been awhile since had run into the pack mutts and frankly that had only provided a few moments of entertainment. Her siblings where hard to come by nowadays, her brother was presumably with their father and her sister was an unknown. Her time was filled with exploring, venturing farther and farther, occasionally passing that pack lands, but never fully exploring it. One day though. She would be certain of it.

Today was no different. The dark girl found herself dozing for a few minutes in the winter sun, enjoying its warmth while it lasted. She found herself in the southern part of Alacritis once more, not to far from the pack. Her goal was to keep going until she was forced to return home.

Limbs stretched, her tail thumping idly against the snow laden earth. She had done her best to clear spot, wanting to be snow free for awhile. Her striped side lifted with easy breathes, charcoal audits twitching to take in the occasional sound. Her body was growing rapidly, but she was still young, far from being full grown. She couldn't wait. If she was anything like her mother, then she imagined herself as being huge, able to take on the world, to strike fear into the hearts of others. The though had a smirk tugging at inky lips. It would be wonderful.

It had been...a few days, perhaps even a week since he had seen that dark girl from the borders. She had been ballsy enough to try and challenge him in his own territory, even going as far as trying to take on he and his two siblings. It probably hadn't been the smartest idea on her part, but part of him admired the fact that she was so bold. That she had the guts to come the border of a pack, being a rogue, and take on a trio of pack wolves. Despite being irritated for most of his meeting with her, Caeto found himself thinking about the girl more than he probably should have. But why? Perhaps because she captivated him? There was air of danger that surrounded her, that promised more entertainment than anyone in his family could. But was it wise to follow that path?

Almost unconsciously the young Maverick look-alike would move towards the borders, part of him hoping that he would run into the dark grey-blue and silver lined girl again. Her eyes as well as her spirit were captivating to the Mathias boy. And the unpredictable nature...it was enticing to the boy, who hadn't met any wolves outside of his own immediate family and pack family. He knew what he thought about her, but what did she think about him? As he meandered about, sticking close to the border, enveloped in his thoughts, that familiar scent crossed his nostrils. The girl. He hadn't caught her name last time, but maybe this time would be different. He tried his best to move across the landscape without making too much noise, but the snow didn't exactly help in that department. She would probably hear him coming, but he didn't care; he just wanted to see her again. Alone this time.

Azures caught sight of her familiar figure, curled up in a snow-free patch of ground, looking as if she were going to take a nap. She was a good distance from the border, but the fact still remained that she was close to his borders again. Not ashamed to be spotted any longer, the boy would seat himself at the borders, ivory and russet ears standing to attention, azure gems locked on her figure, knowing it was only a matter of moments before she would notice him. What would she do this time that they were really alone?

A familiar scent invaded her nostrils causing the girl to lift her crown. Pools of ice would look around, locking in on a russet figure. A grin would curl her lips as she rose to her paws. Only a
Few steps would be taken, her motions lazy, hips swaying, paws sinking into the snow. So he had come to play again, and along this time. This had caught her attention, had caught her interest in the boy. What do he want?

"To afraid to cross the borders?" a snicker would fall from dark lips, eyes dancing with wicked mischief. What would he do without the protection of his siblings? His family had been foolish in challenging her, did they not know of her lineage?

Nonetheless something about the boy had captivated her. His russet coat was unlike anything she had ever seen, his boldness enticed her. His challenge ignited a fire in her, one that demanded to be quenched. If he did not step into the open then she would ignore him, there was no fun in that. She would give him only a moment to decide.

As expected, her dark crown would raise as his scent wafted to her nose, her icy pools of azure locking in on his figure. He could feel the fur along the nape of his neck bristle, but his facade remained emotionless. She didn't scare him...She enticed him, lured him in with her promise of danger and recklessness. Caeto wasn't exactly disobedient, but he was independent, on top of stubborn. And that meant that if he wanted to do something, he would do it at any cost. And he wanted to be around this girl. Even if his gut told him that she was bad news, he wanted to find out on his own. He wanted to see just exactly what was lurking beneath her dark pelt.

To afraid to cross the borders? She would taunt him, her voice pulling him across the border. And he would go without a fight, dull russet paws pulling him away from the safety of his borders as he moved into rogue territory, azures alight with interest. One eyebrow would raised at her, features curious as he waited to see what she in mind next. He didn't need his family to back him up; he was just fine on his own.

Much to her surprise, the boy would rise and step into the unknown. A grin stayed plastered on her dark face. Limbs would propel her forward, closing in the boy slowly. She would invade his space, circling him, allowing her pelt to brush his own. Her posture was not hostile, dominant yes, but it lacked aggression, she was merely testing his limits. How much of her could he handle?

"You're braver than I thought." soft lyrics would taunt him as she came to face him again. "What's your name?" She demanded, audits standing at attention, orbs drilling into him.

She knew her mother would not care that she was here, harassing another, but what his mother think? Mingling with a rogue, one that radiated danger. Unless he was the troublemaker in the family.
Plume would curl around her hips as she pondered the possibilities. His scent assaulted her nose, ingraining itself in her brain, he was trapped, he would forever be in her sights, there was no escaping.

He could see the surprise that would register across her features and it brought a ghost of a smirk to his russet lips. She hadn't expected him to abandon his home that easily. But why not? Just because she was bigger than him didn't mean that he couldn't take her on. He wouldn't call for help if it came down to a fight; he'd take her as best he could, show her that he wasn't a pup to be pushed around. You're braver than I thought. What's your name? He wouldn't flinch as she made her way towards him, gaze tracking her movements as she closed the gap between them. Only his shoulders would tense up as her pelt brushed against his, grey-blue mixing with muted russet. If she was trying to intimidate him, she would have to work much harder than that to achieve her goal.

Caeto. Yours? He wasn't a man of many words, but if meant keeping this girl around a little longer, then perhaps he could invest a few more words than he was usually accustomed to. Unless she planned on making their meeting more action packed than conversational. What would his parents say if they saw him interacting with this girl? Probably disapprove, which made the fact that he was interacting with her that much better.

She had to give it to him, he had excellent composure, he didn't even flinch as she approached. A smirk tugged at her inky lips, eyes dancing with amusement. His name would breach her ears, her brain memorizing it. "Zaria." She gave her name, letting it fall from her jaws with ease. It wasn't often that she got to introduce herself. The first time they had met, he hadn't even bothered to ask. She would turn away from, walking back to her spot, assuming that he follow, or at least move a little closer. She doubted that he would flee home so quickly.

Haunches would slide to the earth, reclaiming her snow free spot. Once more her eyes would find his, a brow lifted minutely. "No grand posse of protection this time?" A bark of laughter would slip out as she teased him, plume curling around her toes. He seemed to speak very few words, answering only the questions he was asked, offering nothing more. "Would you like to go explore?"

She would tempt him with the thought of an adventure in the known, and hopefully he would take it. Despite her front that she put her, and her arrogant nature, she was still a pup and enjoyed a good playmate from time to time. Though she wouldn't admit it, she would be greatly disappointed if he denied her request. Bright eyes would watch with anticipation, waiting to see how brave the pup really was.

The young Maverick look alike was a serious boy, and his seriousness carried onto everything he did. Not a single solitary, genuine smile had found its way across his russet lips since he had become old enough to venture from the den on his own. Not that he really cared; he wasn't one for being "happy". You could say that he was content with the life that he had been given, but there were times where he felt that being alone would perhaps provide him a deeper sense of content. But realistically speaking, that wasn't something he could do for very long. Wolves were pack animals and his instinct would always override his personality, demanding that he be around others of his kind. But as who those others were that would always be up to him.

Zaria. She would hesitate to present her name, the russet boy taking it, memorizing it, and storing it away for future reference. He had a feeling that he would be seeing more of this girl later on. It was only after she had introduced herself that she would turn away from him, almost silently asking him to tag along behind her. She didn't go far, just back to the little spot she'd cleared of snow. Caeto didn't eagerly trail behind her, just moved a few paw steps closer, reclaiming his sitting position, deep azures locked on her dark figure. No grand posse of protection this time? She was trying to get a rise out of him, and even though his tail twitched with mild irritation, she would get no rise out of him, just the same stoic face. Ditched them. He would answer smoothly, ears pricking at her next question. Would you like to explore? That had to be the first rather civil, non-teasing thing she'd said, apart from her name. Without a word Caeto would rise, paws bringing him to Zaria's side, azure gems locking in with her icy ones, awaiting to see where it was that she wanted to head out to explore.

He would follow, though he stayed at a distance. Again he would remain silent, answering her question in the briefest of ways. A new goal was set. She would get him to talk, or she would make him. A brow would lift but she said nothing more about. He would rise, coming to stand by herself, she took it as an agreement that they would go explore.

She would rise, venturing away from the borders of his pack, heading into the forest. She would walk, weaving in and out of trees for a bit before turning to the boy. She allowed a stoic expression to fall over her face, "Lead the way." Cool tones demanded that he take the lead. A plan had begun to form in her head. Something he would definitely react to.

If he so chose to, then she would follow, a few paces behind him. "Are you always so antisocial?" Words were only mildly teasing, but it was serious question. She had never met anyone so quiet. Even Senka wasn't this quiet. She would stare the back of his head, audits standing at attention. Carefully her steps would become softer, slower, her plan beginning to take affect.

He hadn't really found anyone worth talking to, outside of his family of course. Besides his immediate family, the boy rarely spoke to anyone. Of his family, his grandfather was probably the one that had heard him speak the most, but only because the boy wasn't afraid to ask his grandfather questions. Other than that, he didn't speak much with his parents, or even his siblings. He was just a really quiet kind of guy and he liked it that way. The less interactions he had to take part in, the better. Not that he didn't like other people...okay well maybe that was partially true. He just liked being on his own where no one could tell him what to do or what not to do. He was independent to the core.

She would rise with him, keeping an easy pace beside him as they ventured away from the borders of Seracia, leaving behind the safety of his pack. Part of him felt unsure about leaving his pack lands, being this was the first time that he was outside of the borders on his own. But at the same time it was an adrenaline rush. Had any of his siblings gone out on their own? He doubted it. Zaria's voice would break him from his thoughts as she told him to take the lead. He would twist his skull around to give a pointed look, one eyebrow raising up, a look of indifference taking over as he shrugged to himself, moving up ahead of the dark girl.

Are you always so antisocial? She would call out to him after he'd taken the lead. Caeto rolled his eyes to himself, tail lashing as it came to curl over his haunches. What gave it away? He would mutter with disinterest, not bothering to look back at her as he continued to pad along, completely unaware to her formulating plan.

She received a look but the boy still took the lead, walking up ahead of her. A smirk would tug at her features as he did so, a knowing look dancing in her eyes. A question would fall from his lips, though it was softly spoke, probably not meant for her to hear. It didn't matter, she had already slipped away, disappeared into the shadows. Her tail would lash with anticipation, legs stretching to cover ground quickly, yet as quietly as possible.

She would circle around, coming around the front of the russet boy. She would remain hidden until the perfect moment. She waited until he noticed her disappearance, waited until the panic set in. Then she would pounce. The girl would shoot forward from her hiding spot, limbs stretching to take long bounds. Her goal was to get close enough to lunge at him. She wanted to tackle him to the ground and pin him beneath her.

Her fangs would remain hidden, though jaws parted as she closed in on her target. Adrenaline poured into her system. She wouldn't stop until she felt herself collide with him. She hoped that this would get a rise out of him, that he finally snap and say something. Mischief and amusement played on her dark face, the boys scent invading her nostrils.

Had he known what Zaria had been planning all along, he probably wouldn't have accepted her invitation to go out and explore. He wasn't paying much attention to the girl anyways. He was more focused on actually taking in the sights, since that was the whole point of their outing. Perhaps he would run into something interesting past the borders that he could take back to his parents. He had already pretty much explored the entirety of his pack territory and there wasn't much to see at home, not after he'd explored nearly every inch. Which was why he had accepted her invitation. But he would come to regret it now, in the next few moments.

He had no idea that she had stopped following him and had wandered off to who knows where. He was much too consumed with his sight seeing. But he would soon find out as a dark figure came hurtling towards him from his left side. He would be mid-stride, head craning around, azures locking in on Zaria's figure, but it was much too late. Her slightly larger mass would come hurtling into his own, knocking the russet boy straight off his paws. Caeto would go crashing into the ground, his right shoulder digging grooves into the dirt as he slid, his head bouncing along for the ride. He hadn't even finished sliding yet and already he was boiling with rage. Once he'd stopped sliding, the young man would pick himself off, not bothering to shake himself off, allowing the dirt and debri to stick to his coat as he turned his burning azure gaze on Zaria, russet lips peeled back against his small daggers. WHY. THE. HELL. DID. YOU. DO. THAT?! His voice was a barely controlled roar, ivory and russet audits flattening against his skull, tail lashing with anger behind him. Why had she done that?!

A sense of satisfaction rolled through when she felt herself collide with the boy, sending him tumbling beneath her. Laughter would spill from inky lips, pools of ice dancing with wicked amusement. The russet boy would pick himself up, rage rolling off him in waves. He spat words at her, his tones suggesting his barely controlled rage. Her own plume would curl over her hips, audits standing at attention. She would stalk closer to him, her crown dropping to become even with her spine as her chin tucked against her throat.

"I was only playing." She would bat her eyes innocently at him, words dripping honey. She would attempt to once again get close, close enough to bump his shoulder. Quiet laughter shook her frame. She expected that he would return with a rebuttal, wanting to sink his teeth into her. Muscles would tense, preparing for battle. In an attempt to fuel his fire, she would reach out, jaws parting to allow her tongue to swipe across his ear. Tail would wag briefly. She was enjoying his company, never had she had this much fun with another pup before.

I was only playing. Only. Playing. If Caeto knew curse words he would've thrown every single one that he knew at the girl with venom. That was not how he played. With anyone and especially not some stranger that he just met a few days ago. He would hold his ground, trying to calm himself down so that he wouldn't do anything stupid. His father had been trying to teach him to control his anger and for the most part it worked, unless someone pissed him off like this girl had just done. She would begin to move closer to him an enraged snarl would burst from his agape jaws as they snapped together, ivory and muted russet ears flattening against his skull. Did she really think she would just be able to make peace with him just like that?

Apparently his anger was amusing to her, her laughter ringing in his ears as she moved in closer, her tongue barely swiping across his ear. And that was all he could. Caeto would snap towards his left, jaws widening as he twisted his body around into a C position, haunches tensing as he pushed himself forward. Azures would narrow into slits, shoulders rolling forward. Figures that the first pup he meets is the first one to piss him off.

Only silent rage rolled off the boy. A snarl would rip back his lips, jaws snapped together, intending to be threatening. Her tongue had made successful contact with his ear, but it seemed that that was the last straw for the boy. Jaws would unhinge, aiming to grab a hold of her. Fangs would pierce the side of her neck, drawing blood. A startled cry would escape her dark lips. It took only a second for rage to fill her, for her adrenaline to kick in and her vision to turn red.

A vicious snarl would rip from her jaws, audits falling flat against her skull, eyes narrowing. Lips would pull back against fangs, jaws unhinging in an attempt to grab a hold of his ear. Jaws would snap together mercilessly until they made contact with his flesh. If they successfully did so then she would throw her larger mass forward, putting it all on the shoulder that was closest to her. He was smaller, weaker, surely he would be unable to hold her weight, no matter how little the difference, especially if she had a told of his flesh.

His first taste of a fight. What would his parents think of him fighting with a rogue outside of the pack territory? Perhaps they would assume that he was defending their home? Or they could reprimand him for such behaviors outside of the pack lands. If he was a betting man, he would put his money on getting in trouble. It was a good thing his parents didn't keep track of his whereabouts or he would've gotten a severe earful right now from either parent or even worse, from both. But in the heat of the moment, the young Mathias wasn't thinking about the consequences of his actions. He wasn't even sure he was thinking at this point; it was all instinct. Instinct full of rage.

A cry of surprise would rip from her dark jaws as his fangs connected with her skin, piercing the dark flesh, small amounts of crimson liquid falling across his tongue. The metallic taste of blood was strange to the young boy, but perhaps it would become a taste that he would familiarize himself with very well in the future. Part of him felt satisfaction in the fact that she didn't just sit there and take it; that she fought back. She would be quick to retaliate, her jaws coming to clamp over his russet ear, fangs piercing the delicate cartilage, her shoulder ramming into his side as she bit down. His own snarl would rumble from his clamped jaws as they released her fur, forelimbs pushing off of the ground in an attempt to throw himself backwards and hopefully break Zaria's grip.

He would release her, but only after his fangs drew her blood and teased his tongue. Her grip would be tugged upward as the boy reared. Her fangs would drag along his ear, her goal to rip the skin as he so foolish tried to escape her. In retaliation, she would release his ear before striking. As the boy rose, she strove to step forward, only a small step, enough so that she would lift herself onto spread hindlegs, launching her weight forward, wanting to knock his backwards or at least off balance.

She would not let him off the hook so easily. As she did so, jaws aimed at his unprotected neck, wanting a grip, not to kill him, merely to frighten him into submission, to show him that she was the dominate one here, not him. Her blood boiled at the thought. Did he really think he could escape her rage after making her bleed? A growl erupted from her jaws, eyes stilled narrowed, audits pinned and her hackles lifted in outrage. He had no idea how far her temper went.

Even as he threw himself backwards to escape her grip, he would not go unscathed. Her fangs would rip through the flesh of his left ear, splitting the russet fur from his skin, drawing his own blood. He felt it, hot and sticky as trickled down his ear to mat itself within the fur in his ear. He would be succesful in evading her grip, but it seemed that Zaria wanted to be nice and help him out, throwing her weight forward to collide with him, speeding up his already backwards momentum. But she wasn't done there. Even as he was falling, she would take advantage and snap out at him, her jaws clamping down over the scruff surrounding his neck, her fangs piercing the fat easily. A snarl of pain would rip his jaws and he would immediately throw his forepaws up in an attempt to wrap them around her neck since she was in such close proximity to him.

If he were to succeed, he would pull her down with her, keeping her close enough that he would be able to initiate a second attack. Regardless of whether he secured a hold on her or not, Caeto would go crashing down into the ground, his spine taking the brunt of the impact. The air in his lungs would come whooshing out in a rush from his parted jaws. That. Hurt. And now the young boy was even more furious.

The taste of his blood ok her tongue was satisfying. His snarls were music to her ears. His fight captivated her like no other. He had broken free from her jaws but he was tumbling back, unable to escape her. She felt his limbs wrap around her neck, pulling her with him. Front limbs would shoot out on either side of him, wanting to catch herself. She felt his breath in her ear as it was forced from his lungs. His rage continued to feed her desire.

Her fangs had pierced his flesh, giving her grip on his neck as she towered over him. A hind leg would rise, aiming to come down on his belly, wanting to keep him pinned beneath her. Power pumped through her veins, pools of ice glazed over from the high of it all. A growl rumbled dangerously in her throat. She would press down with her nose hard, wanting to put press on his throat, on his windpipe. She want him to know she was in charge.

If he had been successfully pinned below her, then her limbs would bend, lowering her belly to rest against her own. She would rub her into his pelt, claiming him as her own. Everyone would know. He would know and be forever reminded of it. Only after she had done so successfully she would release him, still keeping him caged between her legs. If he continued to fight then she would keep her grip, clenching her jaws, still burying her scent in his pelt.
