DANCING OVER WATER

The deep golden fae had been wandering, curious to see what the south was like. So far it was quite nice, grand, but it did not hold the same appeal as the west. Sighing, the dancer padded to the bank of the river and bent down, holding her rump in the air as she lapped up the cool aqua with her long salmon tongue. It was refreshing, and the fish that swam a little ways beneath her less than dainty cranium seemed appealing. She had never enjoyed fish, but the silver flashes were so dazzling that she wanted to see if maybe they were in fact quite delicious. Seating herself on the sandy bank, she sighed and watched the clouds go by above. They scuttled across the vast blue expanse, setting a calm mood for the moment.
