TREE BEAST IN A LAND OF GRASS

If it weren't for the rumor of a feline in the area, the tawny beast would never have left her northern home of nothing but snow and trees. However, if she saw another wolf soon she would throw a tantrum of the most terrifying sort, involving bloodshed and definite mauling. So, here she was in this blasted prairie. She growled, slinking through the grasses without a sound. Why would any cat want to stay here where the trees were scarcer than the other felines in this whole blasted land mass? Standing amidst the infuriating grasses, she let out a scream. She was tired of seeking, she would let the other regal creature finish the job she had started. Powerful muscles would ripple as the terror of the trees raised her blunt cranium above the grasses to search for trees. A single, stunted growth was all she could spot. Oh well, better than nothing. She thought to herself, trotting over to it and climbing right up to let herself be cradled by it's gnarled branches. There she would wait, long tail flicking in distaste as she surveyed the territory of the strange cat. Talk like this |
