Cool winds swept over his fur, hazel eyes seeking out any form of life as he moved over the rocks and crags of the mountainside. It unsettled him to be so close to the volcano, but it had remained dormant since he had arrived. So there was nothing to fear for now. He was nearing Tortuga territory, that much he knew. Though he didn't know them, nor had he been this way before, he thought about perhaps checking out the pack. He was getting tired of being a rogue, and so with some sort of goal in mind he would leave Legend behind in a hollow near Ludicael to investigate.

It only took him about half an hour before arriving at the borders, the scent strong in his nostrils as if a patrol had recently been by. Standing several feet from the line, he let loose a low bark, hoping that someone was nearby. Perhaps he could talk to someone, gain some insight about how this pack was. He knew all about Ludicael, his siblings were there but he was one of the few who hadn't made the commitment there. Something told him not to do it, and recently he had found out from his sisters.

The earthen toned man was ready to return to the inner packlands, his paws having traced a great amount of the border, the scent marker stronger than when he had patrolled along it. He was eager to get a rest, his mind still reeling some. A low huffy bark made audits stand erect, his gaze swinging back over his shoulder. A sigh would expel from his lungs and the man would turn to gaze longingly into the pack lands before turning to receive the call. Cream colored paws padded along the crag, forest gaze scanning the horizon for the one who had summoned him.
Finally he would see a shape in the distance, he would pick up his pace then. He turned in some before arriving at the figure so that when he finally closed the gap he was now approaching the figure from the front. He would sweep his gaze over the stranger, plastering a grin upon his face. Still he was on edge, the recent attack on his Re replaying in his mind. ?Hello stranger,? He began trying his best to sound friendly, ?I trust you realize you have arrived upon the edge of the kingdom of Tortuga.? It was a statement not a question. ?I am Gitan, is there anything I may help you with?? There was a vague familiarity about the male, something that he had seen before.
