Winter has come

Crimson and Sapphire eyes looked over the icy land. It was always icy here in Glaciem, but it was winter now. The snow and ice that lay thin through the summer was much deeper now. The temperatures much colder. a frozen wasteland was the thought that ran through the peppered woman's mind. For a split second she wondered if her uncle had joined the fight between her pack and his. Just as quickly as it came she shook the thought away. She did not wish to think of the war. She would have gladly gone to battle along side her king, had it been any other pack but Valhalla. Her teeth clenched at her weakness. She should love Valhalla as she was born a Valhallan, but she should hate it because she was now a wolf of Glaciem. The ghostly king would never know where she was raised for as long as she had anything to do with it. Her hind quarters found the ground...or rather the packed in snow beneath her. The snow in some areas was nearly to her chest, but here it came just bellow her elbows. Sitting silently she closed her dual colored eyes and listened to the sounds of winter. Speech,Thought |
