The pool of water was a nice break from all the desert. Minx hadn't minded the weather, considering the fall made it nice and cool. It was all the bushes and stickers she kept getting in her paws that had really bothered her. The woman sat on the edge of the pool, paws in the water as she soaked her sore pads. Giving out a pleasing sigh she wagged her white tail back and forth, beginning to wonder about what her brother was doing. She had only come out the other day, but she knew what her brother had been up to for some time. Minx hadn't made herself known yet considering he didn't even know he had a sister. She was the child her mother had kept hidden, in order to protect her from the father who might as well been the devil in their eyes.
Thinking about all this she sighed, bringing her right paw up, the one that was black, and chewing on it to try and ease the pain. She was no herb expert, and it was only sore from stepping on those stupid stickers, but it didn't keep it from hurting any less. Minx's blue eyes shut for a few moments, as she soaked in as much sunlight as she could. It wasn't often, as a loner, that she got to relax like this. One couldn't have even guessed, she looked well taken care of, as if she were part of a pack.

There wasn't much for the behemoth to do around these parts. There were many wolves; he knew that for a fact. The scent of dozens of wolves, both pack and rogues littered the entirety of the land. There practically wasn't a spot that hadn't been visited by wolves yet. And somehow the titan had managed to evade running into more wolves. For the time being he was content with simply being around Paradise. The little russet nymph was an interesting little creature to say the least and the barbarian found himself warming up to her really well. She was polite, as well as witty and it made being in her presence all the more enjoyable and that was saying a lot coming from a man who killed for a living.

Today he hadn't run into Paradise yet, so the behemoth had taken to wander across the land to try and familiarize himself with what he assumed would become a permanent place of residence. Just where exactly in this vast land he would consider settling down in he wasn't sure, but it didn't hurt to take a look around. Mammoth size paws caressed the earth with silent paw steps, ruby gems dancing about his strange surroundings. The dunes surrounding him were barren and eerily silent. The sand slipped between his toes with every step, making his progress slow and sluggish. It was late evening and the sun was still up in the sky, but soon it would begin to set and the temperatures would cool significantly. The scent of a rogue would tantalize his velvety nostrils, gaze zeroing on the ebony and ivory figure of a lone woman sitting at the edge of a pool. Powerful limbs would pull the titan through the sand until he came to the edges of the pool, taking care to find a shady spot to rest under, sooty muzzle dipping downwards towards the water, one ear flicked in the stranger's direction as salmon tongue lapped at the cool refreshing liquid.

Minx had little interest in what was going on with the packs at the moment. They were busy with their farce, and she would rather not be involved with that. She was a rather calm lady when it came to others, when it came to making enemies, she would rather not do it unless it was needed. As the male came into view, her interest perked, not just because of his scars but because of the trinket around his neck. Her eyes blinked for a moment, to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Sure enough the large brute was there, taking a drink from the pool. Minx stood up, pulling back on her rump with her paws in front of her dipping into the water. Leaning back she stretched yawning with her tongue rolling up from the back of her mouth. Smiling she wagged her tail slightly towards the stranger.
"Hi there." Minx said simply, there wasn't any need to say anything else really. She wasn't some pack wolf, trying to make him come over towards the dark side. She was simply, Minx, the lady who simply lived the way she wanted in a comfortable manner. She had only one family member, and even then his mind wasn't one where she would hang out with. It might pull her towards something sinister, and she wanted nothing of the sort.

The necklace decorating his thick neck would swing forward with his downward momentum, the tip of the tooth brushing against the surface of the water. He could hear the woman beside him pulling herself out of the water, the ripples from her movement reaching him. Slowly Conan would pull himself back from the water, water dripping from his muzzle as he turned towards the sound of the dual-pelted woman as she greeted him with a simple hi there. Ruby gems would dance over her frame, taking a moment to asses her, noticing that she was of course smaller than him, as all other wolves were. She didn't seem like much of the fighting type, but he didn't necessarily mark her as one who couldn't hold her own.

Afternoon. A polite dip of his massive skull would be given to the dame, the behemoth keeping himself on all four paws, not comfortable enough to allow himself to sit like he had with Paradise.

Minx watched him a bit, before raising herself to all four of her paws. He wasn't going to attack her, so she didn't mind the situation she was in. Company was not something she didn't just flat out reject after all. Her white tail flicked back and forth as she still tried to keep a friendly smile towards the man. She didn't mean any harm, she just was enjoying the company at the moment. "My name is Minx. Are you new to ala?" She asked, pulling herself towards the water. Her mismatched paws entering the water. Maybe if she seemed less threatening then he wouldn't be as stoic? Maybe, he just seemed a little tense to her.
"I like your necklace" Minx commented. Looking at the thing that was hanging from his neck. It was a tooth wasn't it? What an interesting trinket to have. She didn't see the point in keeping something like that. Minx was young, she didn't know much about the things other wolves wore around themselves.
