War and Winter, two events that never should collide, at least in the mind of a healer. Winter was a natural event in the cycle of life, at time of reprieve for the precious herbs that she relied on so heavily to tend to her patients. War wasn't natural, but it happened, and it wasn't particularly something that she feared. She found herself worried, about the pending war between Valhalla and Glaciem. Valhalla's numbers were greater, and should the leaders of Valhalla call upon each of their warriors, their numbers would nearly crush Glaciem. She was worried.

She found herself, stretched out in the sunlight, her mind wandering, glancing to the pregnant belly that seemed so out of place for her now. Inside of her, Isardis's pups grew, pups with blood strong from the king. These pups needed a strong home, she could only hope that war wouldn't happen. She could only pray. She was worried, the stress about the pending war wracked her little frame. She couldn't sleep, for fear of seeing her unborn children ripped apart awash in blood. She was terrified, and worried for her children and her pack. The sunlight dappled through the thick pine trees, glowing lightly on her pelt as she laid, her head resting on her paws, contemplating the days to come.

The last few days Abelinda had been sticking around the dens but also exploring out among the pack lands to get a better feel for them to know her new home and it's layout. Flicking an ear as the fea silently made her way through the spines as Abel made her way back to the dens once more but a curios scent grabbed her attention before the phantom could reach them. Curios Abel headed in the direction it was coming from as it smelled of her brother and that of another fea; no likely another conquest of his it hardly surprised her at that point knowing women were indeed something he prized heavily at lest the womb part.

It didn't take long for the red and obviously pregnant form of another to come into view against the snowy white snow resting in the sun light. Those ghostly eyes gazing her over lightly as the wraith approached making no attempts at making her self known save for when Abelinda was but a few steps away. ?It would seem Isar is at it again.? A simple remark as the dame knew she would have more family soon in the form of nieces and nephews.

Her musings about the life that her future children would have perturbed her, and she found herself worrying, fretting, over the outcomes. A voice broke into her conscious, and her head jerked up, looking at the wolf who had spoke. The wolf before her was beautiful, breathtakingly so. Her words, were strange, possibly sarcastic, possibly crude. She wasn't sure how the strange fea meant them. Laying there, she looked up at her, but decided to remain in her prone position.

"Depends on what you define as 'at it again'."

Her words were light, and cool, not to inflame the other she-wolf as she didn't know this stranger, but not as friendly as they might have once been. The hormones inside of her were raging, her fuse was shorter these days. Gods, she was short tempered, and frustrated.

It would seem the dame before her had been lost in their thoughts perhaps a bit too overly so before her own voice brought them out of their own mind. Flicking an ear as the phantom remained where she was waiting for the other to speak; once that head jerked upwards Abelinda knew that she likely had survived the fea with her sudden and unexpected appearance.

Chuckling at her words the wraith smiled. ?Getting into women of course.? Purred the women moving forth as she circled the fiery colored dame taking in her appearance and face to put it away for memory later on. Stopping to the left as her gaze left Eris and looked outwards where more of the land laid a few things were coming to mind.

The ghost of a woman moved around her, and Eris kept her eyes on her, her old wariness creeping in though she did her best to force it down. Should the other woman harm her, she could defend herself and her unborn children. It appeared that she was far more interested in messing with her mentally than physically, anyways. Her words didn't even phase Eris. She knew she was simply one of many, had no illusions about her brief affair with the king. She hadn't expected to call him, hadn't expected the overwhelming sense of her heat to cause her to just give herself to his touch, his taste, and hadn't truly expected to carry his blood.

"A girl must always do what pleases her king best."

Her voice was a coy purr, and her look pointed at the ghost of a wolf who spoke to her. "Who are you, anyway? You must be of his blood, for your words about his actions with his women to be thrown about so easily." She observed mildly, her expression tinged with boredom mingled with curiosity as she looked at the stranger.

Well the wraith hardly meant any harm in the least for she was a part of the pack, willingly or not Abelinda could hardly care less about such matters in the least save for their loyalty. Chuckling lightly the ghost offer a bit of a smirk. ?True enough; a man always enjoys when his pleased.? The statement was true enough without saying; flicking an ear those ghostly eyes remained on the fiery fea.

A playful smirk crept upon those lips as fiery dame asked as to whom she was. ?Abelinda, sister to the King.? Such flowed from her maw more then once these days; strange as it all was but alas the wraith was getting used to repeating such a thing for those who lacked the knowledge of whom Abelinda was. ?And your self? No doubt one of the many broods he has claimed.? Musing as she was Abelinda remained in place simply watching the other.

The other woman was peculiar looking, but in a pretty way, though Eris felt off put by the way that she spoke. Truth be known, Eris wasn't sure how she felt about breeding to her king, other than it solidified her loyalty to him, though lately her loyalty to her pack was questionable. The dame introduced herself as Abelinda, a sister to Isardis, and Eris blinked in surprise, though she supposed she could see the resemblance in some of the kings other family.

The dame asked her name, than proceeded to mix herself with the rest of Isardis's brood and she felt her pelt prickle with annoyance at the dames words. Curtly she would reply. "Eris. Curer of Glaciem." That was all she would say, her eyes glittering in slight annoyance.

This women was proving to be interesting to the serpent and thus for know she'd provide an interesting meeting. Choosing to lower that bum to the ground the serpent did so silently as that tail would curl around the left side of her body to rest over those paws of hers. A soft almost knowing smile met her lips as the other sparked with obvious annoyance a bit of a game perhaps or a simple teasing it was hard to know what was going through the slate blue dames mind.

?A Curer? A interesting tittle; I would assume your one of the healers here then?? The wraith would question however lightly as that gaze lingered on the dame before her.

Fighting back a sigh, she watched as the blue colored dame settled back, making herself comfortable. So she'd be subjected to the other woman's 'company' for a bit longer yet. Perhaps, they could stop being so clippy to each other? and actually have some decent conversation, she wondered. The question that the blue dame asked next was a wise one, well any sister to Isardis, obviously was a creature of power and needed to know the placement of the other wolves in the pack.

"Yes, I am one of the healers, actually, I believe I am the only wolf in the pack who specializes only in healing. I think one or two of the warriors know a bit about herbs, but that they lack a healers experience." She explained, her tone light. "What do you do, Abelinda?" She inquired curiously.
