Jian padded around the outside of their den, pacing back and forth. Ever since the fight that her mother had been in and not knowing where they were going to live and now they're staying after all and, and... Jian sighed, her ears flicking uneasily. Everything had been so weird lately. Nothing felt the same. She wished everything would go back to normal and they would have their pack again and mom wouldn't be all hurt and they would have a real home. Her miss-matched paws crunched through the dead grass, lost in her own thoughts. It was freezing outside, but Jian wasn't paying it any attention. She finally lifted her eyes from the ground to look for her siblings, her mother, anyone. Even Dempsey. She just wanted to know someone else was around. Lel was keeping an eye on his sister, it was rare to see him extend that much concern for others, but the two had been through a lot together even for being so young. They had both been there to witness their mother?s loss of course, and though they were both very na?ve they knew something had been lost, when once the lands outside the den had been busy now there were silent, the only paws to pace the ground constantly belonging to his family. The boy was pretending to be asleep ,pushed into a back corner, finding it much easier to watch her from the shadows of the den than to be outside. The boy could see nothing wrong with watching his sister this way. He was simply keeping an eye on her. But his limbs were beginning to cramp, aching for movement, for blood. With an exaggerated yawn he rose to his paws and trotted happily out of the den, flicking his tail in acknowledgement of his sister. Speech,

Jian's ears flicked up when she heard her brother yawn, seeing him trot out of the den. Seeing him eased some of her worries. He could understand what she was feeling after all he had been there to see their mother fighting and the aftermath of it all. She padded over to him, eager to talk to the only wolf she had seen around recently. "Hey, Lel," she said with a little smile. Of all her siblings she felt the most comfortable around him. She suddenly wanted some sort of distraction from their situation, something to do just for fun. "Let's go hunt or explore or something! Or spar!"
