There had been rumors spreading through the pack that a war was going to break out. Of course, Dhiren had no idea that such a thing as war existed. He was still wrapped up in the world of his family, where everything was relaxing and peaceful. The only problems he had since birth were play fights he had with Lakota and dealing with nothing but girls every day. His father, the second-in-command behind Jupiter, stuck to his duties as one of the main patrollers, giving him reasons for leaving the den more often than Song. It was because of this frustration that had Dhiren leave the den on his own that day.
He had left his sisters to their own devices, although he had a pang of guilt for not taking Fal-Dara or Novel with him. The six-month-old just needed to have some time to himself, that was all. Was that too much to ask? Dhiren snorted and watched the air from his nose form a very light cloud before fading into the cool atmosphere. Fall was slowly coming to an end, bringing with it colder temperatures and the ugliness of bare tree branches. His outlook on the world that morning was definitely bleary.
Silver and gold bi-colored eyes searched the familiar landscape of Ludicael in front of him. Scents met his nose again like they had before and he began to separate them into individual strands. They didn't hold any interest to him, so he ignored the chances to try and go hunting to instead explore the rest of the land around him. Dhiren didn't even go as far as half a mile when he saw a female with white fur off in the distance. Her scent danced across the cold winds and automatically slapped his nose. Startled, he inhaled and realized it definitely smelled like his mother. Heart rate increased and he grinned widely, racing in her direction. "Mama!" he called, excited to see her out of the den, too.

Tiny frame moved restlessly about her new home. She had spent most of the night craving out her new den. It was high above the normal ground level, clear of the water line. A massive mangrove was the roof to her den, its many roots providing nooks to store her herbs. Around the massive tree as a soft sandy clearing, ringed by smaller mangroves. The spot offered shelter and room to tend to her packmates as well as a den for herself. Only problem she had was her very short supply of herbs. She also wanted to line the den to block out the cold. She had been up all night a day, clearing out her den, dragging in leaves and ferns to line her den and the floor. Now that most of the night and day was spent doing that, she rushed about searching out herbs. She had sent Novel out to go learn to hunt, since that would be a main concern during this coming cold season.

Claws dug into the soft earth for much needed roots. The water was freezing as it was, but her bustling movements had kept her warm enough. A voice call out, making her head snap out. With a yawn she turned to see a dark little male come running towards her. At once she made the connection that he had to be another of Song's pups. But unlike Novel, he was mostly covered in black fur. She thought of Cherrokee from the one time she had ment him. This little guy seemed to have picked up his father's dark gene. Her eyes blinked a few times before she would reach down into the water to collect her roots before padding out of the water. She shivered slightly before flopping down on her side."Well hello young one. I'm not Song, but i am her sister. Whats you name?" She asked softly with a warm smile. Why were all of Song's pups so darn cute?! She nosed her roots, counting them for a moment. A flash of concern entered her eyes but was gone by the time she looked back up at the pup.

Dhiren was completely surprised when he realized that this white wolf wasn't his mother. Eyes widened and he tried to stop running to avoid bumping headfirst into her. He planted his rump against the ground, sliding and then slowing down his speed to a snail's rate. It was a miracle that he stopped short of her front paws, a couple of inches from the white paws that were stretched in front of her form.
The black and white pup was still in a soft form of shock as he looked over the female in full detail. He noticed how she resembled his mama, but was not exactly like her. When she introduced herself as Song's sister, he began to realize there was a legitimate reason they looked alike. From what he had been told, Mama's family was pretty big. His head cocked to the side at her inquiry and with an innocent blink of his eyes, he answered. "My name is Dhiren. Dhiren Destruction, son of Cherokee and Song." He turned his head to its regular level and continued to marvel in her white glow. "I didn't know Mama had so many sisters and brothers...How come I didn't know about all of this?!" His voice gave a slight squeak and he immediately cleared his throat before saying, "Sorry...what is your name? You must be my aunt if you're Mama's sister."

Head leaned back slightly as the pup came to a sliding halt as her paws. She held back a soft giggle at his shocked expression. Her tiredness seemed to wash away with the pup's arrival. She would always make time for her nieces and nephew. As he sat there she leaned forwards to lightly touch noses with him in greeting. His formal introduction made her smile more."Well, its a pleasure to meet you my nephew. I am Symphony." She listened to him continue and frown slightly."Everything as a time and place, but sometimes we miss when the time is right. Yes im your Aunt. I became Ludicael's healer as well, so i'll be keeping my eyes on you pups this winter. I have two brothers my age then there is Myth, Novella, Legend and Story. They are your other Aunts and Uncles. I'm sure you'll meet Anthem soon if you see me alot. Howl..well he is a grumpy old man and im not sure if he has decided to stay here or not." She smiled and laughed softly at the end.

She wondered how many pups Song had really. She had only met three now."How many are there of you? I've only met Novel, who will be my apprentice, Canta, and you." She asked softly and licked her lips, tasting the roots and sandy water she had just been digging in.

He listened intently after he made himself comfortable in front of his newly discovered aunt. She spoke of her siblings and how he had a lot of aunts and uncles. Just how many people were in his family?! The numbers would probably overwhelm him, but he acted as if they were no big deal. "Those are a lot of names to remember, Aunt Symphony," he commented. "I don't think I could hold all of those names in my head for the rest of my life." Coming from a pup, it sounded like it was a large weight to bare.
Little ears perked as she said that she was the new Healer of Ludicael. "Are you really?" he asked in an awe-inspiring tone. "That means I can come to you if I ever have a really bad cut or injury, right?" He hoped that he would see her aside from being hurt, because she was family and family had to be there for everything, correct? Dhiren's tail began to wag as Symphony then asked him of his own litter mates. "There are five of us in total, but the other four are my sisters. Novel, Fal'Dara, Canta, and Lakota." Dhiren nodded to confirm his list. "I love them all, but sometimes I wish that I had a brother. It's okay, though. Daddy and I spend enough time together to make me happy."

As she spoke of the pups large family, his comment made her chuckle.Im time you will. It will be much easier when you can match faces with names. Like Novella has the same eyes as your mother, the same color of fur under my eyes but also two dots above her eyes. That how you can tell the three of us apart. And if you use your nose and concentrate you'll notice our scents are abit different." She explained to him. No doubt she would always have the sharp tang of herbs and the soothing scent of earth on her.

His excitement of her being Ludicael's healer warmed her. She smiled fondly down at him."Of course young one, and when ever you want you can come see me. Visits are always nice, specially from my nephew and nieces." She would ruffle to top of his head with her nose gentle. Ears perked as he listed his siblings. So there was two more she had yet to met? She would need to sooner than later. She was impressed at how well he behaved and felt towards his sisters, having no regrets."Yes, us girls can be whinny huh? But always remember family is the most important thing. No one can ever replace your sisters. I'm sure if you visit me you can play with your Uncle Anthem. He would really love that, if your sister ever get to be too much." She would wink at him with her first comment. She wanted to give the little guy a way to escape from the hormones of four sisters by providing an outlet to play with Anthem. It would do her brother good to as he adjusted to the pack.
