Coming Undone

the serpent's tongue lashed across inky lips, wiping away the traces of mercury scented liquid that so perfectly painted his maw. ears rocked back against his head and his eyes traced the rocks and slopes that descended downwards to create the massive ravine that was so perfectly displayed before him. It was perhaps...the most intriguing thing he had seen thus far. Vermilion eyes found themselves staring directly downward, the evening sun creating a cascading shadow that made the bottom of the abyss seem endless, for he could not see an end through the darkness. What if one could simply fall eternally? Metaphorically, they could; for he did--though realistically, and logically, they could not, eventually bones would crack and turn to dust upon some kind of impact, or scientifically, the pressure would force them to implode on themselves. Interesting indeed -- to be caught in free fall and then end it all with a rather anti-climatic death...it mattered little to him. the mongrel would turn away from the dip and crevice of the earth making his way from it. His intrigue had been explored, exploited, and ended. He had nothing left to discover. Perhaps the life of a black and white thought process was seemingly plain and monotonous to others, but to him it was quite natural and easy going. Life or death was the ultimate debate, and when he was placed into the equation the argument became obsolete. He was the god of this realm in his own disturbed mind and he had no intention of allowing such a conclusion to differ.

"I wouldn't stand so close to the edge." The purred vocals came from the french women, just as he proved to turn would he see what had oh so wonderfully crept upon him. Hidden within the sun's shadow only those frosted eyes made them selves known in the shadows, before the dame stepped forward into the light those frosted eyes roving over his delicious form. Now, this was quite the treat. All alone and on a massive dip at that, what terror could she wrought here? There were so many things she could do, she could push him over the edge perhaps, deal with a killing blow or simply have her twisted fun with him before he was begging for her to end it.

"ah, but it gives you such a rush," the serpent would immediately hiss in return, although, no it no longer gave him a rush for he had discovered the secrets of it, thought about all the wonders, and had no prepared to toss it aside as though he had any other indifferent thing. His gaze lingered on the svelte portions of the young lady for about another moment and then he tossed his head altering his course. she offered nothing to him. He would easily beat her in a brawl and it wouldn't even take much. She was a tiny and simple thing, and he was a behemoth of ultimate size. They had nothing on him--infidels. He disregarded her existence, though, it was not to be taken personally for he often forgot to pay notice to anyone. Everything was pathetic in this raw world.

"It can yes, but unfortunately it doesn't provide the right kind of rush." A brow lifted as he only stared at her for a few moments and turned away to alternate his course, a soft growl left her maw as she slithered forth, blocking his way. "And just where are you going?" A simple question as she kept her self composed, for the most part. A part of her was wanting to indeed peek into the world and show him a good bit of fun, in more ways then one. The women however did not fear him, size meant little in a fight; he was big sure but lumbering, slow and there for always missing the hare that darts past his salivating jaws.
