She would approach the borders with curiosity - this was a pack that was familiar to her, but had yet another ruler claim it. She had passed the territory before on her travels, and it seemed that every time without fail there was someone new watching over it. The albino was curious, was there a chance that this leader was different?

There was always the chance that the lupine who ruled this place would not take well to strangers, let alone strangers that wanted information. But perhaps this brute would be different - and let her momentarily indulge herself in the inner workings of the packs here in Alacritia.

Perhaps she would even join, depending on what this male's morals were. She had tried lawlessness with Amenti, and it was strange, there was no order, and little that attatched her to the pack but lupine that were naught but ghosts now. What was the new, new, new Tortuga? With that in mind the albino would lift her head and give a short call, politely requesting the attention of the man in charge.

ooc// hope you don't mind some family company ;P

She was perched atop a fallen tree, the roots protruding from the ground but the top had gotten stuck on another tree on its fall and had settled at a slope. It had been like this for years probably, it had been here since long before the Tortuga wolves had migrated and moved here. Kylar and her had dug out a den beneath the upturned roots and his herbs were wedged between the tangled mess that had served as their ceiling. It was fairly secluded and not particularly easy to find but since the new invasion of wolves she didn't want to leave her home alone to be overrun by other wolves of heaven forbid childern.

She hadn't decided to leave, hadn't decided to stay, she had simply decided to exist as is for the time being. The russet pelted woman had even taken it upon herself to keep a constant and vigilant eye on the boarder, watching the comings and goings of those who wished to join and invade her lovely home. Eventually she had started to wander the territory, floating about the boarders and then eventually even wandering towards the main path where most wolves came up the mountain.

Today she had climbed up the fallen tree that marked her home a bit higher, sharp yellow eyes watching the main trail now rather then wandering close. It was a bit higher then she was comfortable but after she had settled herself down and gotten over the initial feeling of vertigo it was kind of nice... Tail flitted idly as she waited for something anything to happen. It seemed that it was on that thought that the ghost caught her attention, almost gliding across the lands. Once again the vision flashed through her thoughts of the golden male with the albino girl and russet boy that she and Kylar had warned about the flooding in Taiyae. The current alpha's father had started those memories but as with that male she shrugged it off.

Vi was moving before there was even a howl, long limbs unfolding carefully so she didn't fall and then lithe body would turn and she would start back down the tree, head lowered and paws placed with great care. The past few yards were leapt, not wanting to stay on the tree longer then needed. White dipped paws would carry her at a lope towards the newcomer, ruby ears tipped forward just in time to catch the howl just as she was beginning to break through the underbrush. "Sorry to disappoint dear, I believe the alpha is a bit tied up. Mind if I keep you company until he gets here?" Her words held a bit of venom but her smile seemed pleasant enough.

She was pretty, held a particular scent that Vi recognized vaguely but couldn't place. But aside from that she was a pretty thing, probably around Vi's own age with a kind face. "My name is Viridiana Sovari, or Vi for short if you desire. May I ask what brings you to the edges of Mount Volkan?" There as less venom there, replaced instead with a bit more curiosity as golden eyes studied the slender albino before her. Familiar... so familiar...

A red woman had crossed into his home, her home as she liked to call it, since apparently she had been here much longer than he had. And she hadn't left. She wasn't exactly part of the new Tortuga, his Tortuga, but she wasn't exactly not part of it. He wasn't sure what the deal with Viridiana was, but as long as she didn't cause any trouble within the pack, he saw no reason to not allow her to wander around the land. Clearly she knew this place much better than he did if she could somehow prove herself to be trust worthy, then perhaps someday she could become something of an asset for him. For the time being though she would remain under vigilance, wary of the red woman's actions.

It was a quiet day, the King merely relaxing in a stream near his selected den when a summoning howl broke the quiet air around him, asking for his presence at the border. A potential member or simply someone looking for information. It was no secret that he was in charge of Tortuga now and he knew there were bound to be plenty of curious wolves wandering around wanting to know who he was. And he no problem answering their questions, as long as questions were the only things that they brought along with them. Ebony limbs would pull the titan away from the clear liquid and towards the border, paws navigating the now somewhat familiar terrain, icy gems scanning the terrain for the figure of the caller. A familiar scent tickled his nostrils, brows furrowing together. Vi. Already making a nuisance of herself?

He spotted her russet figure first as she stood before the second wolf, whom he realized to be another albino. An image of the Ice King invaded his mind for a moment but he pushed it aside, mentally reminding himself that not every albino in the world would be an egotistic bastard like Isardis. Taurig would approach promptly, clearing his throat as he moved closer, warily eyeing Vi with a raised brow, interrupting her little questionnaire. Afternoon ma'am, please excuse Vi here, she's...a curious one. A frowned look would be tossed towards the red woman, telling her to back off as addressed the albino dame before him. I am Taurig, new King of Tortuga. What has brought you to my borders today?

The alpha took a bit to get there, but it wasn't something that Io would complain about. The little woman was surprisingly patient, and would wait until it was obvious that no one had heard her call. Thankfully for her though, it wasn't something that she would have to worry about, because although the alpha seemed to be a bit wrapped up a the moment, there was someone else there willing to greet her. Twin triangles twitched above her head as she heard the quiet pawsteps of another lupine, and soon said wolf was within her line of sight. The woman had a beautiful red coat, one that Io was transfixed by for more than a moment.

Her words easily broke through her little trance, and the albino shook her head no when asked whether she minded the other's company. Something seemed to be bothering the woman, and Io hoped that it wasn't her that had put a damper on the other female's day. The woman introduced herself as Viridiana Sovari, and the albino's heart leapt at the familiar name. The sudden light in her face was probably visible to the other, but she didn't care - her lips lifted into a small smile. She had run into a member of her family - this woman was blood, and that had been why she came to Alacritia in the first place. "I am Io Sovari, I am glad the world has stopped being so vast, if only for a moment."

As for why she was here, she was now here because Vi was - she had quite easily taken her curiosity about this pack and made her wonder just why a member of her family was here. Had she been here long? How exactly were they related? "I was curious about the new leader, and perhaps looking to aide the new pack." She seemed to have a thing for lending a hand to those that seemed to need it. Perhaps this pack could use a healer? The feeling of being of some sort of use was foreign, but she had liked it in the brief moments she felt it in old Amenti. "You are a member here?"

She barely finished her question before she was in the presence of this pack's leader. He was a large male, dark, and smelled somewhat familiar, but it was so subtle that she could simply write it off and call it a coincidence. "She is family." The woman replied, not quite liking the look he gave her kin, and yet she would not back away or express any sort of anger. He introduced himself as Taurig, a King, and Io dipped her head in both respect and congratulations. "Curiosity." She answered honesty and simply, it was what had brought her here. "I don't know them, but there have been many leaders here - are you different?" It was not a jab at him, or the land that he had claimed, but she wanted to know what sort of group he planned to run.

He himself seemed polite, which was a pleasant change to the neutrality that she was used to. "I would like to know about your Tortuga." She didn't want a history lesson, the past was the past.

There was only a slight pause, but there was a flicker of recognition as well as Vi gave her name to the pallid woman. The Sovari name wasn't a particularly uncommon one anymore, she had met a few aunts and uncles before Alacritia and even within these lands she had met two older half siblings and even an old sibling. Then there was her own brother she had grown up with and his children. So when the pretty thing before her introduced herself as a fellow Sovari Vi's shock wasn't as visible as as it had been the first time she had met a family member. A slow, easy smile slowly slid over her features at the name and it was probably the first honest expression that had crossed the female's features since she had last seen her brother. "Its always nice to meet family..." She mused, tail flitting at her heels now. Was this one of the goddess's children? Though Vi knew that they simply knew her as Lust, and had a far different upbringing then she and her brother had she still had a deep loyalty to any who shared blood. The goddess had made sure that herself and Kylar had always had that from a young age...

Io said she was curious about the pack and Vi drew in a deep breath, unsure of what she should say. Of course they needed members but Vi wasn't exactly in a position to be accepting people and throwing ranks around when Vi herself didn't have one. She and Taurig had come to a very shaky agreement where she could stay if she played nice and didn't cause trouble to put it shortly. Not that she planned to follow those rules, Vi had always been the kind of gal to push the limits until she made someone snap. She hated having restrictions. Her next question was a bit harder to answer but the words seemed easy enough to come. She was just opening her mouth to answer then the devil himself pushed through the bushes. Asshole, always ruining her fun. The red pelted woman stepped back a bit, letting the male take the spotlight though even though she did this graciously he still referred to her and even cast her a 'go away' look. Now if looks could kill then the daggers she was glaring at his side would have dropped him. But Io was the one to speak up for Vi and the red female flashed her newfound kin a smile.

Words would be exchanged and in the end Io asked about Taurig's Tortuga. The stupid one she was now being forced to live with but she would hopefully end soon enough. "Well dear I'll let the pair of you speak. As for your question I've been part of the old Tortuga's and Taurig here has been kind enough to let me linger here a bit longer. If you decide to join you should come find me later, I'd love to speak further about family matter..." She smiled earnestly at the pale female, before turning a slightly colder look towards Taurig and dipping her head. Oh the fun was just beginning... With that she would retreat, turning and flipping white dipped tail before long legs would propel her back into the Tortugan lands. She knew when she was no wanted and had it been any other wolf other then family she would have lingered just to annoy the new king but she didn't need a new family member to know that side of her just yet. As far as she knew all of Lust's other children had turned out fairly kind hearted. Other then the last queen's mate though she had seemed more crazy then evil...

He wasn't sure how he felt about Vi lingering in Tortuga. Based on what she'd told him, she technically had more right than him to be on these lands, but they no longer belonged to her, even if she had been here much longer than he had. They were his home now, his territory, and he was only allowing her to stay as a courtesy. He didn't want to completely kick her out, since she hadn't done much to merit such actions, but in the first instance that she caused a big disturbance, he would send her packing. He was trying to be considerate of her and he hoped that she wouldn't take that for granted.

He had arrived just a good time, catching the tail end of the conversation, which meant he now knew the pale one's name; Io. It was a very unique name, certainly one he had never in his life before. It suited her. Albino's didn't seem to be quite common, then again she was the third one he knew of thus far, the other two being Isardis and his half sister Impra. Io would catch his not to pleasant look at the red woman, explaining that she was family. Family. Vi has family? That was a little surprising. She didn't seem to approve much the look that he gave her sister, but she didn't make any kind of remark about it, instead turning her attention to explaining why exactly she was here. Which was curiosity. She wanted to know if he was different. She wanted to know about his Tortuga.

I suppose you could say I am different Miss Io, but all really depends on your own perspective. My Tortuga is a peaceful place, a home to all who need one. It is a place where family is important, with respect highly enforced. Everyone here is an equal, no matter what rank they hold. But don't mistake us for pacifists. Fighting will almost always be our last resort, but if push comes to shove, I'm not afraid to shove back hard. The titan would watch from the corner of his eye as Vi disappeared back into the territory, glad that she wouldn't linger to pester. Crown would be raised just a few inches more, chest puffing out ever so slightly as he spoke about his new pack. He was proud of what he was doing and he could only hope to convey that.

She had wanted to get to know Viridiana a bit more, but the red woman knew when she wasn't wanted it seemed. Funny how she smelled like this pack, and yet she wasn't treated too well by it's new king - idly the albino wondered just what she was missing between the two. She would watch her leave, returning her smile with a soft expression of her own. Another Sovari - she had searched so hard for her brothers, just knowing that anyone from her once home could be here in Alacritia was enough to lift the woman's spirits. She would seek the other out soon - perhaps sooner than the red woman even realized herself.

With that she would turn her attention back to the King - Taurig. Despite her immediate interest in Vi, she honestly wanted to know more about he and what he wanted to do with this pack. She hoped that he had plans, plans that were his own and not following in any footsteps but his own. Not because the previous leaders had been bad, but because each one had disappeared, leaving little to nothing to build upon. Judging by his words, this place sounded quite nice - peaceful and respectful, but willing to fight should it need to happen. Talk of violence pulled a small frown from the woman's lips, but she wouldn't turn away at Taurig's willingness to protect what was his. That was what made a King a King, wasn't it? Or at the very least it was a part of it.

It simply wasn't enough to impress the dame alone.

Luckily for this male, he was working well toward his way of seeming like a suitable leader to the female. She had asked what he wanted to do with this pack, and he had given her an honest geuine answer. Despite his plans being just that - plans, she wanted to know how it all turned out. "Your Tortuga sounds lovely." She would compliment him, and although it was small and simple, it was genuine. Perhaps she could find residence here and make herself useful to the this male and the wolves within. Of course, she wanted to be near Viridiana for a while as well - she had barely gotten to speak to the woman and this would make things easier.

"I find no qualm with pacifists, I was raised as such." For good reason of course - it seemed their mother was cursed with a rather weak litter. "As an albino I don't do well in sunlight, my eyes and skin are sensitive." Her skin burned when she wasn't careful, and her eyesight became patchy in bright lighting. "I am a medic, and have worked with herbs my entire life. I may be considered delicate, but I have taken care of myself through my craft for years. Perhaps I could offer my services to you and your Kingdom?" There was little else she could do but occasionally hunt. If he turned her away she would understand, but she hoped he would have room for her regardless of her setbacks. Magenta eyes would gently meet the male's own, and she quietly waited for his opinion of her and whether or not she would be accepted here.

It seemed that his description of his new Tortuga was pleasing to the albino dame. He wasn't trying to impress her or make her like him or Tortuga, but he was glad that she approved of the direction he was planning to steer his pack in. It was uplifting to hear from others that he was doing a good job; it made his decision all the more worth while. I find no qualm with pacifists, I was raised as such. As an albino I don't do well in sunlight, my eyes and skin are sensitive. I am a medic, and have worked with herbs my entire life. I may be considered delicate, but I have taken care of myself through my craft for years. Perhaps I could offer my services to you and your Kingdom? A medic. How perfect. If there was one thing Tortuga was lacking at the moment, it was medic's and he could take all the ones that were willing to join. That would be greatly appreciated. Tortuga is at a severe disadvantage with no healers thus far, you would be very welcomed here if you decided to become part of Tortuga miss Io.
