His biting motion down on her leg would have positioned his face downwards and crown upwards; though regardless the swing she took at his skull would cause a deafening yelp to gurgle between the gathering of blood at the base of his canines, back hunching as quarters would tuck beneath him with the lurching of pain as her jaws scraped both sides of his skull, one seeming to hook at the base of his flattened ear and tug at tender cartilage. It seemed however, that the immense damage he would present to her forelimb would be enough to cause her an unbearable pain. Just as he had hoped. It seemed she would retract from him as her defences ceased, and oh how tempted he was to take advantage of that, to continue on with his task of desperation and finish all the troubles she had caused him. He almost snickered, obviously it was he that had caused the dramas, but who was to blame? Liberty, perhaps? For so mindlessly taunting him, for medalling with his desires and believing he was far too weak to pursue them. She had well been proved wrong. But it wasn?t about her anymore.

He would release the magpie with a violent head-toss, a motion resembling an enraged pup throwing its chew toy at the sod beneath. ?I enjoy hearing you beg,? but perhaps it was barely interpretable, gargled manically from amidst a dripping pool of saliva and blood; the angel morphed to that of a bloodied demon as his nape would dip up and down with the lurching muscles of his intentions, sinew reboring with the thrill of a victorious fight. And one well deserved. He would move away from her, corpse shuddering with pride, strength weakened despite the adrenaline still pumping his rocking nervous system. He would fall deaf to any other words cast about the battlefield, neck low as still his bloodied maw was creased to a snarl, sparing only Argent a glance as he would creep eerily by, ?Ensure the lamb comes.? A rasped suggestion towards Liberty as The King would slither proudly from the proximities, and steal back to his homelands.

He slid from his protective position around his daughter as soon as hissed words left his lips. He knew he was being harsh and immediately he tried to bring himself down from that level. A boy stepped to his daughters side a moment later and a war of emotions raged through him. His first instinct was to forcibly remove the youngster from his daughters side but the more time he gave himself to settle these emotions the more he realized that that wasn't the best idea. After another moment Friction nodded to the young male with a begrudging amount of respect, they were here to keep Liberty safe... With that settled he kept close to his daughter and he turned his attention to watch the scene before him unfold.

All too soon the outcome became rather obvious and slowly the older male closed his eyes and let out a careful breath. She was loosing but still she fought and Friction took a second to root himself too that moment. He felt the chill of the air in his lungs, smelt the blood in the air... He was dangerously aware of it all and when his blue eyes opened once more all he could do was apologize. To Liberty for not being there more, to Aislyn for not being able to protect their daughter, to Eria for sneaking off the way he had and to Odette for now being able to teach her more. So many apologies but he said nothing as his icy gaze watched the fight.

Liberty seemed to realize it, that their alpha had lost to this pale ghost. And now Frictions options were very clear as Liberty pushed herself into his ruff. No tears fell from her eyes and Friction said nothing for a long time as he stared at the ghost who wished to steal his only daughter away from him. This was it, without her he really had no reason to live anymore... But even as he watched Chrys submitted and the pale ghost drifted away. There were words, people were speaking but he felt like he was underwater and couldn't hear them. He stared at the silver female for a long moment before arching his neck to look at his daughter. "Never forget that I love you, I'll come for you when the time is right but right now I have to take Chrysanthe home..." His voice was steeled now as he cast a glance to his alpha an nodded. He would return for his daughter but for now he knew she would be safe, at least until she got to Glaciem and Chrys needed him. "I'll stay until your gone," he said softly, reaching forward to wrap his neck around his daughters shoulder tenderly at first before giving her a tight squeeze. Now was not the time for a fight, he would have to go back for his daughter, he would be back for his daughter.

Well well...that was the end of that. The Valhallan was to be taken by Glaciem and there was nothing more to be said. He almost cringed having seen his sister fall at the hands of another, but he could say nothing. a grunt of disapproval rumbled from his throat and he turned to depart. she would be returned to her home in time even if it wasn't immediately. tossing his head back and beginning some serious thinking Syrinx mused over what could be done.
