Dust and ash began to coat silver stilts that propelled the woman forward. She had no particular region set in mind though she was aware of the nearby pack. The one that never seemed to keep an Alpha. "What god forsaken place is this?" A familiar voice reached audits that swiveled in her direction. "I have no idea." And she didn't. She had simply stumbled upon this retched place. She hadn't seen a single life form since arriving here. Any trees that remained were scorched and blackened. Soot made her paws black, staining her flawless pelt.

The spotted feline looked around with mild distain. Of all places for them to end up. They were exposed, left out in the open for all the see. A disgruntled sigh slipped from between her inky lips as she fell into step beside her wolf companion.

Fall had settled. The temperatures had dropped, making traveling during the day for more bearable. The pair had been reunited, resuming their explorations. Crossing the once forest had been a silent journey. Powerful legs brought her to a stop where ash turned into grass and dirt once more. She shook her pelt, removing the ash and dirt that had gathered. Haunches slide towards the earth. It was still warm enough that she could find a water source to plunge herself into to clean her pelt more thoroughly. Nostrils flared, taking in the scents around her. Boredom shot through her. There was nothing for her to do, packs were ever growing, loners becoming scarce. It brought an agitated twitch to her inky lips. She needed something.

Darkness gave breath to faceless vibes that echoed in the world of death and lost things. Masks, auras, all broken and left to rot as the world went forward but the hell lingered on. When the world broke and she had broken with it she had come to sit and ponder on the door of regret and longing. This place seemed to echo her soul, everything bright had been discolored, and everything joyous had turned to tar. A small dancing ball of soot seemed to daintily fall before her eyes, their violet tint turned to watch it saunter down towards the edge of her nose, it then landed gently as if asking for permission as it mingled in her gray black fur. She wondered if it was the past touching her, asking her to move forward, to let it all just go.

In the ashes came the aroma of something more. Dark ears pulled forward in response to the faint smell. Companionship had been a curse and engrained inside her since her involvement with Fable. She had cursed her to need and regardless if the past was haunting she wanted something new. She needed purpose and she had done it one wolf at a time before. When Zara had first asked her to fight Sade, when she had first slain the queen, her numbers were so faint as the wolves had left with resentment and sadness. She had searched and found ghost, her muse, and with her words had found others and collected all those in need. Perhaps it was time to start again.

Gently paws pushed into sooth and ash, making as little sound as possible. Yet behind those paws was the weight of the world, or rather 200 pounds of it, velvet fur seemed to be less inviting, less fresh and alluring, as the sooth dulled out her shine and made her less then appealing. She had never found herself beautiful. She had always thought of herself as ugly. Ripped in the world of male and female. Too large to be female and yet she was, yet too emotional to be male but she could be so cold when needed. Jupitor would soon see the harsh reality in that. Soon enough. She soothed the fire in her heart as she thought of the bitch that stole everything. Her mind was reeling again, her body working on autopilot, when the original goal had caught her attention and snapped the rage out of her in one quick whiff.

?Why do dainty paws tread on broken worlds?? she questioned, her voice calling from almost directly behind the female. She was the queen of assassins, or rather former queen, so she knew how to be quite and when not to be.

Why do dainty paws tread on broken worlds? Immediately Cena hissed, whirling to face their stalker, cyan eyes narrowed. Ears of the silvery woman simply swiveled back before she turned to face the unknown woman. "It's those same dainty paws that broke the worlds." It wasn't often that she spoke in rhymes, she preferred and more straight forward way of communicating, but today she could make an exception.

Coral pools roamed over the woman who had been so quietly following her. Her stature was impressive. She towered over Cat, easily out weighting her. Her pelt was much darker, varying in shades across her body. Only training could have made something so large so quiet. But even with her silent tread, one always got the feeling of being watched, a sense that they were being followed. Two toned tail flicked idly at her heels, audits standing at attention on top of her crown.

Why was this woman so intently following her? Nostril flared, taking in her scent. Pack. Surely she wasn't here to recruit her to whatever measly pack she came from. The silver woman was many things, but a commoner was not one of them. "What makes one so brave as to follow in those steps?" A brow lifted with mild curiosity. Her intend steps made her thing that somehow this woman knew her, wanted something from her.

She cut to the chase. There was no reason to dance around it and accomplish nothing. It was a waste of time, and frankly she was bored, there would be no wasting anymore of her time. Coral gems met amethyst ones, waiting for the dark woman to speak, to state her reasons for following her. She could feel the agitation rolling of Cena, but she had quieted, the only sign of her displeasure was a twitch of her tail.
