It was a strange, wide world out there. He peered up at one of the giant palm trees that were scattered around the beach near his family's den, his head tilting all the way back to look up at the spiky leaves up at the top. What a strange tree. His earthy brown gaze looked around the beach seeing the black columns that jutted out from the ground as well. Padding over to one curiously he thought, "Is that some kind of tree too?"

He plopped down onto his haunches, looking up to the top of the black column and back to the ground again, trying to figure out what it was. He poked at it with a little gray paw, surprised that it was like rock and not like wood. He poked at it several times before looking up to the top again, his head tilting to the side. "Hmm. Not a tree." He gave a little shrug and looked around, not seeing any of his siblings or,more importantly, his mother. His ears flicked back, but he comforted himself by looking for their den, seeing it a short distance away. How much trouble could he get into so close to the den... right?

Rakshra

She would pad through the forest at random times. In search of what? She didn't know. Perhaps for innocent wolves that needed a hard time. She chuckled. She loved messing with other wolves. She would ask herself why, but the only answer that ever came to her was for her own entertainment.

Her ears picked up the sound -- the sound of a young wolf. Her nose did the same. Normally, a pup would not be alone by themselves without they're mother or a babysitter nearby, but Rakshra realized it was at least a few minutes away from the den.

Padding in the direction of the lone pup Rakshra kept her head down and herself hidden in the shadows. Her eyes squinted a bit to hide her bright blue eyes that would deffinetly give her away if she was seen.

She spotted the pup in the distance. Rakshra stayed within the cover of the shadows with her head hung low and she watched her step in effort to make as little noise possible. She wasn't planning on hurting the pup, of course. She just wanted to mess with it a bit.

After watching the pup for a few minutes, she opened her mouth and spoke. Hello, young one.

Large paws raced across the sand and away from the den that she had made her own. She had gone to see if Mercianne's kids wanted to play, but it seemed one of them had their own idea and taken off so she decided to go find him and see if he wanted to play. Her tongue hung out of her jaws as she ran, her already too large paws nearly tripping her as she moved across the soft surface. She followed the scent, and he wasn't far now. She was about to let loose playful puppy barks to announce her coming, but then a shift in the winds would tell her that Mercianne's pup was not alone.

Instantly, Avalon slowed her pace. Precaution settled in as she neared the small rise. Peeking over, she saw an unfamiliar approach and stop near Clover, and to Avalon she looked suspicious...and dangerous. Ears flattened and teeth flashing in a snarl, she would make her presence known as she slid down and closed the gap between them. She stood protectively in front of Clover, glaring at the stranger. "What're you doing here lady? Leave 'im alone or deal with me!" She ordered. She would not allow any of her snow rogue family to get hurt, especially Mercianne's first litter. She stared down the black woman, Avalon standing at a gangly half height of the woman already at just a year old. Given a few more months and she would probably already be at her full height...which would be very big for someone like her. She swept Clover back with her bushy tail, refusing to allow the woman near him.

"Speech."
