Hunger

Their screams grew louder and louder. Whispers became overwhelming as they attempt to speak to their puppet... Hades. Their anger and annoyance took effect on the male greatly. Causing frustration. A sudden growl escaped his ebony maw as they spoke their wrath. The demons wanted something and they grew impatient with Hades's ignorance. They wanted to be fed. "Must my dearest Hellions be so impatient and inconsiderate of my needs? After all, I am your living source, my Loves.. You will get what your are destined to receive." The whispers chatter amongst themselves in his mind as they seem to quiet down. His demonic thirst grew stronger but he seem to push it aside for now which caused the Hellions to be irritable. Dismissing the whinny subject, the man moved forth into a land that held secrets.. It was quiet and undisturbed. The mist hid the impurities of the marshland and sun dared not brighten the gloomy sky that laid above the ebony bloke. He headed into an unknown direction. Trying to find anywhere to rest his tired limbs. Already, the brute had been walking for almost an entire day with out food or water. The air was humid and blew hot from his flaring nostrils and all discomfort was noticed by the Hellions that laid inside the man. "Calm your self, Hades. ," said the demon with a poisonous whisper. Licking his ebony lips, the obsidian beast finally found somewhat stable ground to sit upon. His trot came to a slow halt as dampened mud stuck between his toes. Hades grunted with annoyance once more and sat his rump onto a pach of soft moss. Rocks littered the area of fog as he observed the surroundings. Soon, he'd have to find something to quench their thirst but still, the man knew not a soul here in the lands of Alacritis. Consequences were promising if he chose to delay their wants for too long.. Like a prince, the yearling held himself powerfully. He walked with his head held high and his tail extended behind him like a banner. There was no submission to the male's stride as he carried himself through these foreign lands. He owned them, even if they were far from his true home in the North. He could always get used to a place like this, if his family found their way here during their wanderings, but the idea didn't draw Galileo as much as the North did. He had never wanted anything more than the happiness that could be found in a cramped den that was shared with his sisters. But now, his family had expanded, and Galileo found himself with new burdens heavy on his shoulders. He had taken to them with the strength that one might have expected of a son of Gargoyle, but things got to be too much every once in a while.
That was what had drawn him out here. However, what had kept him in this place was the scent of another. It had drifted beneath his muzzle a few short moments ago, and Galileo had adjusted his path, a flicker of curiosity filling his thoughts as he made his way along, tracing the scent until at last he found its origin; a decently sized, powerfully built black wolf with sharp red eyes. The wolf had nothing on his father in terms of size, Galileo noted with a hint of pleasure in his two-toned gaze, but he certainly measured up to Galileo with ease. Perhaps it would behoove him to be respectful.
His ears pricked in the other male's direction as Galileo straightened to his full height, letting a greeting fall from his maw. "Hello," Galileo spoke simply, his voice cool. The nervous pup that he had once been was now long gone, forgotten by the wayside as he had grown. More responsibilities had matured him into the wolf that he was now; a wolf who wished nothing more than to find a safe place for his family. He didn't seek any trouble, but he wouldn't back down if push came to shove.

Crimson optics stared motionlessly into the distance. His nose stung with a faint smell; becoming stronger and stronger within seconds. The sudden threat made the man's bristles rise but he chose to wait and see what had approached. Hades's demons wouldn't tolerate a missed meal. Auds caught the sound of steps within his reach and soon, a grey pelted whelp emerged from the fogs. Eyes narrowed slightly at the grey boy as he suddenly took adjustment of another male's presence. Familiar whispers spoke softly."Look what you have here.. Don't you want to gorge the grey brute?" He grunted as he silently thought,"Now now.. It is strictly not masculinity that draws me to one, but it's their femininity. Correct yourselves, Loves." They did not reply; obviously fed up with the slight attitude. He felt somewhat unsure of this wolf. Uncertain if threats and blood followed this arrogant bloke that stood feet away. Hade's ebony face held no emotion as his piercing eyes bit at the man's face. Deeply scrutinizing him like the project and experiment he'd become. A sly smiled followed upon his tense face. A slight grin, Hades replied with a flamboyant reply that lingered with calm and cool notes but still, his deep vocals dampened his accent. "Hello.." The man that stood before him was enormous. Possibly three to four inches taller than him by the shoulders but amazingly, this took no effect on the demon that so viciously demanded murders. His dominance took no lowering and neither had his confidence. Eyes observing the grey man, Hades waited for a reply. "Speech" "Thoughts" |

The greeting that the male returned was as cool as the one that Galileo had let fall from his maw. He twitched his ears in the other's direction, allowing silence to reign for a few moments before he deigned to reply. "This isn't the nicest place, you know." The observation was mild, untempered by any sort of emotion. "These lands boast of much better views than this." He glanced around as he spoke, twotoned gaze observing his surroundings with just the slightest amount of condescension. He would always love the North. It would always hold his heart. Places like this were simply bland compared to the stark beauty and danger of his home.
Of course, Galileo was just slightly biased in that regard. His home had been torn from him, so of course he believed that it was the greatest place to be found. If he hadn't been forced to leave it, he probably would have left of his own choice, seeking something better elsewhere. But Galileo had never been given that opportunity, so he loved his memories that much more fiercely for it.
Inclining his head slightly in the other's direction, Galileo returned to the present with a flick of his ears. "My name is Galileo." The male added that part, his voice as calm as ever. Why, he could remember when even the smallest of pups had him hiding behind his mother. But Galileo had grown up since then, and the large male who stood before him had no affect on Galileo. He was at ease, or he had been, at least, until the female made an appearance.
His first thought was that she was gorgeous. His second was that he was far from a gentleman. Looking vaguely amused, he glanced towards the brown female with a halfhearted flick of his tail. "There's no special occasion." Still, he inclined his head in her direction, "Should there be?" He twitched his ears at the thought, glancing back at the black male. Did he know this wolfess? Or had she just appeared from nowhere?
