KILL YOUR HEROES

The sun felt nice on her silvery pelt, twining itself between her fur and warming her body. A sigh left her lips, loud and obvious as she let the heat of the morning light relax her. Argent had been so tired lately, worn out from her pregnancy and from the preparations to fight against Valhalla. Perhaps she was being over the top, but any good Knight knew to prepare for the very worst. She had to protect Glaciem, to ensure that the pack would be safe for the little ones that she would birth in a while.
Her crimson eyes settled upon her stomach, where her condition was only just becoming obvious. It was not yet too large, so she was free to do most anything she wished, but with each passing day she grew closer and closer to the time when fighting would not be an option. That made her anxious; if war broke out when she was heavy and useless she would not know how to handle it. For now she paced, paws repetitive as they hit upon Glaciem soil, posture stiff. Her back ached and her body yearned for rest, but her mind was too busy for a reprieve.
