THE GHOSTS COME TO PLAY

Quote:Argent felt like hell, and she wasn?t quite certain why. Or rather, she dare not to assume the reason behind her ailment. The silver knight had started feeling a sharp ache in her back, soon followed by a string of headaches. In the mornings she would become nauseous, and often lose hold of her breakfast, and the previous night?s dinner. It was not a pleasant experience, and so today she had decided to take a walk, curious if this would help her relax somewhat. Her expedition found her not feeling much better; instead she was beginning to feel dizzy, spots filling her vision.
She would try to cling to consciousness, but slowly she was losing grasp. Having the good sense to lower herself for some reason or another, she blacked out. She did not know the true reason behind it; that she had succeeded in conceiving the children of her King and now she was feeling the harsh side effects that would plague her in her pregnancy. Argent had not known she would be affected like this, nor that she would find herself out here now, alone and vulnerable, at least until she managed to retain a grasp upon consciousness once more.

Hints blue gaze surveyed the frozen landscape. She eyed the frozen pillars, most of which looked like they would collapse under the weight of her stare. She slowly turned her head from left to right, memorizing the landscape, trying to calculate which features would be useful to her in the future. Now, a place like this was a little to theatrical for her style, but if necessary she would remember this place to lead another to their death. She didn't have any wolf in mind, which she was thankful for. Being free of clients was quite a blessing, it gave her a moment to herself, an opportunity to explore. But alas, her duty always followed her, and once again she found herself thinking about work. She placed a dainty white paw on the thin surface of the lake. If a fight wasn't going my way, or I was caught in the act, I bet this could be the key to my getaway. I might be able to skim over the ice, while a heavier wolf will fall through she realized with a smile. Hint lifted her paw from the delicate ice, backed up a few feet, and then continued along the outskirts of the lake. She suddenly stopped short, and squinted ahead of her. Slumped on the ground was a mass of fur, a gray contrast to the ice. She parted her jaws, and scented the air for the reek of death that she should have noticed earlier. She stared for a moment. Possibly too cold for death scent? she thought. She slowly approached the wolf, walking around with a wide berth to find the face. She noticed intense darker patches of fur around the wolfs eyes, and when she got closer, saw a faint rise and fall of the chest. She hesitated to go closer. The she-wolf certainly wasn't asleep, but what was she doing? Against her better judgement, she reached out a white forepaw and gently prodded the gray figure. "Hello?" she said loudly, hoping she wouldn't startle the stranger too badly. Thoughts; Speech |

Golden eyes narrowed as Kishan looked for Yesubai some more, sniffing the air and not looking around him. Then, he heard the loud crunch of the ice he was stepping on splintering, but didn't pay any mind to it. Pushing down even more caused the ice to splinter completely, and break apart, throwing him into the frozen water. The water was freezing, and Kishan gasped for air as it hurt his chest and paralyzed his legs. Fear rode him and he raised his snout to yelp out a word, pausing both because of the water and because of his thick accent "Help! Madada!" He managed to say this before his black snout went under and he tried t struggle his way back up. Then he went under again, each time managing to bark out the single word.
Then, a paw hit the ice and stayed there, until the ice became slick and his paw fell into the water once more, and Kishan looked at the female, hoping to form words that would help him out. "Help! Female! Help! Drowning! Need Help!" He might have been able to form more words had it not been for the cold water making it painful to speak, but Kishan guessed it would be enough for the strange female to take the hint and help him. Hopefully.
