The creature sauntered along, head bobbing to some invisible beat, the tip of his tongue lolling from his mouth as he tasted the air, hunting for something much more...delectable that ants. Dont get him wrong, he enjoyed a healthy dose of ants, but today he was seeking a delicacy! Something he couldn't always find... termites. His hyper sensitive ears had heard them, scampering in the red woods, careening through the trees and he had been unable to resist the calling temptation. Doing his best to avoid the heavily scented area, although why it was there, or whom had marked it he had no idea, he hunted through the trees, ears twitching, seeking that hidden tome of gems! What a delectable buffet! He paused at one of the larger red woods, cranium tilting upward as he sniffed the bark complacently. His massive, bushy tail battering back and forth once in excitement, before he braced himself, rose up on his hind legs and extended his full seven feet in height. His front paws unfurled and heavy, thick claws tore into the bark, dragging the outer layers down and away. The insects tried to scamper away, to flee, but they were no match for the power and speed on his tongue, swiping up the insects in a matter of seconds. The incredibly lengthy creature dropped from the tree, shaking off the stray pieces of bark from his pelt. His dark gaze turned once more to the heavily scented part of this territory, what was it that made so much racket beyond those invisible walls? How intriguing.... Speech,

Medusa was not a woman who was often stumped, but today she found herself in such a position. She was looking upon a creature of some sort, one whom she hadn?t seen before. Perhaps it was because the areas she?d lived in previously were less wooded, but she didn?t quite know what to do with this thing. Was it a threat? Did it want to eat children and shit out despair and chaos? She approached slowly, not one to tread with caution if it was simply her own safety concerned. ?Well aren?t you a strange looking wolf,? she crooned, observing at the creature devoured the ants. Well, perhaps this animal wasn?t harmful. It didn?t seem interested in doing much else aside from being an insectivore.
