Galileo wasn't usually much of a wanderer. Usually being the operative word of that statement. But his father had claimed Tortuga for themselves, and now Glaciem was Glaciem in name only. He and his family were the true Glaciem - though he supposed that technically, they were Tortuga now. He didn't like it. A frown crossed the young pup's features as he padded through the snows that dominated the lands near his old home. He still thought of the place as home, even if now they technically lived in Tortuga. Galileo wasn't sure he'd ever get used to that.

Shuddering, the pup padded forward a little further, ears twitching as he listened to his surroundings. There was nothing but ice and snow as far as he could see (and hear, he supposed). And that was exactly the way Galileo wanted it. He wanted to see the snows one last time, to say a goodbye before returning to Tortuga. To some, it might have sounded melodramatic, but for Galileo, it was a final goodbye to his home.

Beneath the surface of his mind lurked thoughts of the intimidating russet male who had stood beside the female who took their pack from him. He had looked very interesting. Galileo did wonder, almost absently, what had happened to his face. But most of his attention was focused on the frozen expanses before him. He would miss them. Though he supposed he'd be able to see them again some day, but hey, maybe Galileo would find himself getting used to the mountainous terrain of his new home. Until then, however, his heart would always belong to the tundra.

Okay, yeah, it was definitely a little overly dramatic.

The area was the ground on which Glaciem had thrived so well, but ultimately their alpha had not been good enough and his sister had stolen it with as much grace as was expected of her, exempli grata little to none. It didn't bother the now paladin in the slightest, he even had to admit he enjoyed the scorned faces of the poor desolate little creatures as the clawed and crawled for supremacy. A darling smirk would envelop his features and the canine devoured the ground before him yet again refusing to slow his pace. Still, it was not sheer ambition to move that drove him so much as it was the immense interest that had came with the figure dancing in the distance. A young child, an ex-glaciem child. It was too easy to tell that the boy was kin to Gargoyle and even kin to Collision. Collision, yes, Syrinx had to wonder how the man felt about him having taken part of his family's home away. Hopefully, he understood the need for wolves to dominate each other and there would be no reason for altercation to occur. After all, Collision was an Adravendi, not one of them.

Sly and filled with curiosity he glade over the land, his firm muscles planting him at the side of the boy before he would teasingly attempt to taper into his side with his left shoulder, "You still smell like your old home, kiddo," it was slightly curious that the man could offer any kind of nice mood with such a dejecting feature. He was positively repulsive to the eyes, unless said eyes were twisted and thriving upon the broken, and yet, he had something about him that would never fail, he was an Adravendi, and regardless of what all else became, at heart he was no monster, merely a man with a soft spot that was ingrained and hard to reach. Eyes pressed into the child at his side and Syrinx continued to prod him with questions, "You must be related to Collision you know? That makes us family technically. Even if it's adopted," the man couldn't lie, more importantly, he did not see the point in foolery, ultimately the truth was the more rewarding of the lot, and it was what people found the hardest to consider, "what do you think of the changes in your life?" he wanted to know what Eos had caused, what strife and grief, what unforgivable sin had she truly committed? Correct: They committed.

The sudden voice startled Galileo, who had been distracted by the snowy expanses that were spread out before him like a map. His gaze moved to focus upon the reddish creature, and Galileo tilted his head slightly, pricking his ears in the massive wolf's direction. Galileo remembered him! He was the mate of the one who had challenged for Glaciem. And yet, Galileo had no qualms with him personally. Just his mate. And even that could be put on hold for a while. Galileo was young still, and he would have time. "I'm not a kiddo!" Galileo announced proudly, "I'm almost a year old!" Well, 'almost' was a bit of a stretch, but still. The point was there.

The large male's next words were met by a curious tilt of Galileo's head. They were family? "Does that mean I'm going to be as big as you one day?" He blurted the question out even before he remembered that he was supposed to be mad at this wolf. "I wanna be big like you." He'd be able to protect everyone if he were that big. His family wouldn't ever get hurt again. The thought made Galileo grin a little, though the grin faded with the wolf's next question.

What did he think? How did he feel? Angry. But it was a cold anger, not a fiery, passionate thing. And he felt . . . scared. He would miss his home. But that was harder for Galileo to admit. He had always been a timid thing, and nervousness was nothing new. But true fear? That was a rare thing for the pup. He still thought himself invincible, after all. "It's kind of scary..." Galileo forced himself to speak at last, twitching his ears uncomfortably, "I don't like the mountains." He admitted almost nervously as he glanced curiously up at the massive wolf.

Curiosity burned in his veins as he asked what had been bugging him since he had first seen the russet wolf. "What happened to your face, mister?" In the typical vein of pups, he was impolite, not bothering to beat around the bush. But in truth, Galileo thought it was really cool. He wanted his face to look like that!
