OOC: Still getting into the swing of things - sorry its so bad!
He had followed the stream to this place. Days had passed since entering here and when he had first ventured here the stream had been a river. Occasionally birds flew low enough for the brute to wrap sharp canines around and he would make a meal of them. He was not underfed and neither was he fat; his muscles were tuned and warmed from the travel and his pelt was slicked to his skin from the water he had just climbed from. He had wanted his scent to be carried away. No one following him would be able to locate him now, he was sure.

The dark wolf travelled on until he found a tree which held its roots proudly above the earth. A perfect place to dig a den. For today, it would do. He had no idea where he was or how long he would stay for. He doubted he would remain undisturbed. The faint scent of others lingered in the air, wafted past every now and then and gave the pale-eyed wolf pause. He would still utterly, muscles tensing to ready themselves to run. His nose would twitch and gold ears would flick nervously around. And then the moment would pass and he would return, unfazed, to his digging. Kerhasi was merely a traveller, a passer-by. Snow covered paws dug at the cold earth. He would not be met with hostility here, surely. Heavy clouds hung over the woods, threatening rain and horrendous storms. He could easily evade any packs if he was vigilant. His job done, a small one-wolf den was burrowed under the large willow, hidden almost totally from view by the tree?s long, wispy vines.

Kerhasi grinned at his handiwork, leaving his semi-permanent home for the stream. After cleaning his snow-tipped paws in the chilly water the brute lay just beside the water, salmon pink tongue lolling out of the side of his narrow maw.

It had only been a day since she arrived in the new place. It was so big and diverse Alessa knew it would take her a good while before she would be able to fully explore its entirety. She wasn't in a hurry though; she had all the time in the world. As odd as it was for her, for some reason she could see herself spending a good while here. She never lingered in an area for more than a few hours and yet she had already been in this strange new place for a day. What was keeping her here? Certainly it wasn't the boy she'd and helped yesterday. He'd simply been a passerby to her, someone she'd stopped to help, nothing more. Was she looking for a pack perhaps? She didn't know what pack life was like. She'd never been in one. Her pack had always been just herself and she'd never wanted it any other way. Could things be different now?

After having helped the boy as much as she'd could, the creamy peach wolf had wandered off, as was her usual routine. There were so many new many new smells and so many different places that she didn't know where to start. Her dual-colored gaze came across a patch of giant tree, its branches seeming to reach up into the sky only to fall short, its long branches hanging down like spider legs, the tips brushing against the earth. It was an extremely interesting tree, one she had never seen before. Alessa was rather cautious as she approached the timber, nosing her way through the enlongated tree limbs, goosebumps rippling across her skin at their touch. She stopped for a moment, mismatched eyes lifting to gaze at the trunk of the tree. Its millions of branches were knarled and twisted at the base, resembling weaving snakes. She decided she liked this tree. Perhaps she would visit this spot more often.

And then a peculiar scent hit her nostrils, catching her attention. Alessa pulled her gaze away from the tree, letting it roam the area around her. There was a small stream and lying on opposite was another boy, this one different from the one she saw yesterday. He had golden ears and startling amethyst eyes. He lied quietly beside the stream, his tongue lolling from the side of his mouth. Unsure of what to do, the light pelted girl slowly walked to the edge of the dangling limbs, orange and icy gems focused on the boy across the water, plume flicking gently between her haunches as she watched him. He wasn't in need of help so she wasn't sure if she would approach him.

He was sure he saw her before she saw him. The fae seemed preoccupied, staring at the willow that was now his den, and unaware he was there at all. His nostrils twitched, picking up her scent, naming her a rouge and therefore not as much of a threat as a pack wolf. Once this was established his body ? which had been tensed and ready to spring ? relaxed. Kerhasi returned her cool gaze with his own. Slithering, his tongue returned to his mouth. At first he was driven to stand, close the distance between their bodies and inspect her further. But he stayed laying, in all appearances relaxed and perhaps even friendly.

Thin lips parted, curling at the edges to mock up a grin. Guten tag, the thick German rolled easily from his maw, lavender eyes flicking over the pale wolf in open appreciation. What are you doing here, h?ndchen? Added in a softer tone, calling the girl puppy in his father?s native language. It was always fun to mess with wolf?s minds. It was then that the brute would stand, long limbs pushing up from the ground in slow, easy movements. His chuckle, deep and throaty, was a sudden break from the otherwise silent woods. The silence made him uneasy, as if unseen spirits were quietly judging him. He sought to cross the water, pale eyes on the wolf the entire time. His walk, unconsciously graceful and smooth, brought him to a stop just before the girl if she had yet to move, still standing in the freezing water, ears flicked toward her in a display of friendliness.

Obviously he'd seen her first. He'd been in the perfect spot in order to have the optimum vantage point from where to spot newcomers and so she wasn't surprised to see his pale gaze already watching her form as she approached the edge of the vines. She dared not breach their boundary, unsure of how to handle the situation. Had he been in distress she wouldn't have hesitated even for a second coming to his side and presenting whatever aid she could give. But he wasn't, so she held back. Despite her helpful nature, she wasn't one to strike up a conversation. If it wasn't under the circumstances of her providing her help, then Alessa rarely ever started a conversation with a stranger. Conversations led to getting to know one another, that lead to being acquaintances, that led to being friends and being friends led to getting close and that pale she-wolf wasn't about to get close to anyone. She wasn't going to be abandoned again. Not again.

She had noticed the slight tensing of his body at registering her presence, probably thinking she was a threat until he'd realized she was just a wandering rogue, much like himself as far as she could tell from his scent. But then he relaxed, tongue snaking back into his cavernous jaws as they curled up into what looked like a grin, it was hard to tell if he really meant it or not his throaty voice breaching the space between him. A foreign tongue slipped from his lips, none like she had ever heard before. She had no idea what it could be, but from the intonation she assumed what he'd said had been some kind of greeting. Then again she could be wrong, but she was just going to go along with the idea that he'd just said hi to her. He continued on, asking her what she was doing out here, calling her a name in that strange tongue of his. She would've been annoyed with the fact that she didn't understand whatever language he was speaking if it weren't for the fact that she didn't really care. Not many things phased her and that was one of them. I could ask you the same thing. She countered in her own low rumble, mismatched eyes tracking the brute's movements as he lifted himself from the stream's bank to make his way towards her.

She did not tense, nor back or show any kind of reaction to his approach, merely stood her ground, tilting her head slightly up to look at the taller wolf. He chuckled and Alessa couldn't understand what amused him. Was it the way she looked? Was it that obvious she didn't understand what language he'd spoken? She supposed it didn't matter; it wasn't like she was going to ask anyway. He stopped just a foot or two away from her, his ears flicking gently towards her in an attempt to look more inviting. She made no outward appearance of acknowledgement, simply watching him, waiting for a reply, plume lashing gently behind her haunches.

She seemed calm; Kerhasi would go even so far as to call her demure expression stoic. The dark wolf observed her reaction to his hello. In all honesty, he was so used to slipping between his three languages he rarely noticed when he did. However he wasn?t about to elaborate and merely allowed his wicked grin to widened when he was given an answer to the words she could understand.
He felt her odd eyes on him as he moved, though not once did his steps falter. She appeared to be made of stone when he reached where he wanted to be. And that was her mistake. Giving no reaction was forcing whatever came naturally down and therefore the fae must not want to be read. He read others like they were speaking their thoughts to him and him alone. He relented, finally, speaking again as she seemed to wait for something. You could, h?ndchen, but you shouldn?t. The pale eyed wolf was unwilling to answer a question that was never asked. Not that he would utter any sentence similar to that. He asked questions, he didn?t receive them. Nose twitched slightly, gaze darted from attempting to meet her own to moving slowly, languidly, around her face. You never answered my question, that?s not very nice, he stated, voice soft and light and oh so roguish. It was a warning. She had let him close and now he was playing a game he intended to win. Tail flicked idly at his heels, the gold tip causing ripples in the quiet stream in which he stood, still relaxed.

She didn't wear her heart on her sleeve, or really show any kind of emotion to begin with. All those things were locked up inside of her without the consent to come out. No one needed to know how she felt. It was none of their business. They didn't need to know that even though she put up a fa?ade of being dependable and strong, only caring about everyone else, inside she wished there was someone who really gave a damn about her. But she wasn't about to tell anyone that. How could she believe someone cared when she'd been shown the exact opposite as a child? There was no use harboring false hope; it wouldn't do her any good.

This was another side her of her that only some would be able to see, only if they weren't injured of course. And this brute here was a getting a first hand view of it. Despite his closeness, Alessa gave no indication that his presence affected her in way. It honestly didn't. He wasn't giving her any signs that he was about to attack her or anything of the sort so she had no reason to stir. After her counter she spoke nothing, simply watching the strange chocolate and gold pelted man before her waiting for some kind of response. He finally relented, using that foreign tongue of his again, calling her whatever it was that he was calling. She would've asked him to speak English, but that probably would've made him want to use his language more and she would've gotten nowhere. So she settled for answering what she could understand.

His pale eyes roamed over her face, examining her as he complained about her not answering his question. I didn't know I had to be nice to strangers. she answered smoothly, a barely there chill hinted in her voice. If he thought he was going to be able to get anything out of her, then he was so poorly mistaken.

Ahhh this is sooo short compared to yours D:

When no reaction was given to his breach of personal space, the dark brute?s skull tipped to the left. Her words, cold and unfriendly, brought a hint of a grin to his face. You should, He encouraged softly, Its dangerous to act like a dominate in front of strangers. Especially if you aren?t alpha. Strangely wise words from the rouge but dripping with so much humour it would nearly impossible to detect he was speaking honestly. Why so serious, little one? He asked with a soft chuckle. Actually, don?t answer that. Let me be polite. I?ll shw you how its done, yes? Kerhasi Vater, at your service. The thick Russian vowles rolled elegantly from his tounge, and he took half a step back and gave the she-wolf a low bow.

She shrugged, allowing her shoulders to rise for a moment before returning to their normal position, the young girl watching the man with a cold indifference reflected in her mismatched eyes. I'll think about it. she answered, sarcasm thickly layering her words. So he thought he was a funny guy, now did he? Well she didn't find him amusing at all. Then again, she hardly found anyone amusing to begin with, him included. And then he was talking again, asking her why she was so serious before taking his question back, introducing himself as Kerhasi Vater, an accent heavily layered in his words. He took a step back, allowing her personal room once again he presented her with a bow. She wanted to laugh, but she didn't of course. Not because he was funny, but because he thought that by just being nice to her he was going to get her to crack. Yeah, good luck with that.

Alessa. she replied simply, ivory dipped tail flicking idly behind her haunches, muzzle dipping towards her chin in a tiny nod of acknowledgement towards Kerhasi as she watched him, wondering what other tricks he had up his sleeve to try and get her to crack.

OOC: bleh post XD haha
