The bloodied moon, the darkened sky; clouds cast their glazed over red coloration across the ground. The only enhancement to an un-naturally bloodied and stained ground that she wandered upon. Head lifted into the air, the scent a reminder of home. The pits where the weak and unworthy, or the genetically defunct were tossed like nothing more than what they truely were. A speck and blemish upon the face of the earth, something that was disdainful and weak. Weakness, oh the weakness was horrid in her families eyes; they did not deserve to live nor did they deserve to walk amongst the healthy. Those were the memories of her homeland that she had wandered so woefully far away from. Her own father having ruled the swiftpaw pack in the deep heartlands of the arctic with a land scourged in blood and death. He was not the kind to take kindly to people who could not defend themselves and would toss the pups to the wilderness for a month at a time to test their survival upon reaching a certain age.

The ivory beauty tread her own way across the bloodied ground. White paws gracing the scarce snow that covered the lands. Curves accentuated with each movement, pure white fur developing a red gleam as the moon overhead cast it's softer rays over the earth below. She could smell not only the bloodshed, that stained the earth; but also the scent of others that did not belong amongst the smell. Ears twitching slowly as if listening carefully to the sounds around her, a snarl crossing her lips, since her arrival here she had not smelt one arctic wolf. How could this be, did these others not know the superiority that the arctics held over the other species? It was blasphemous, there was no doubt about it. As much as she might hate it, she knew all to well that she might run into others that weren't of her 'noble' lineage as she liked to call it. Of course, she was the daughter of an alpha back in her home pack; sent out to scout the lands to see if it was conquerable for her family to come in and take over.

She knew her mission, she was to scout and report while herself to gain access and insight into the packs that ran the area. Little did she know that things were quite different in these lands than in her own, so as she pulled herself along she listened intently for any sounds of others that might be lurking in the night as well.

as her pregnancy progressed to be more than just a slight bulge and morning sickness, jupiter was never allowed to be anywhere alone. she was to be guarded and escorted at all times when moving out of the territory or even crossing to another side of it. she wasn't allowed to move too quickly or bounce too much, and was informed of every single impediment in her path without fail.

of course, no wolf would or could be held to such a rigorous guard duty, but such requirements were far from set by a pack member or herself. instead they were regulated and upheld by a single entity of black fuzz; mercury.

the tasmanian devil companion waddled beside her, mumbling inaudibly under his breath with frustration at his friend's stubborn habits. she'd insisted on making her regular trip to the battlefield despite the fact that she was due in a about two weeks or so. hormones had run their course and relative paranoia had begun to pulse within her already, setting her nerves aflame with negative thought.

bathed in moonlight and glowing like an angel was an alabaster figure in the distance. the celestial-pelted woman paused only momentarily as she spotted the figure, breath catching slightly in her throat with concern. her pace accelerated a bit, but she checked and slowed it as mercury gave a warning growl, the tasmanian devil waddling forth ahead of her. fro this distance she mistook the female as someone completely different, and a slight burst of panic thundered through her thoughts.

marvel...? what is he...? concepts of a pack challenge having gone unheard caused her pulse to quicken and her ears to pin to her skull as she looked upon the individual from afar. as she came within fifty yards of the lass her posture relaxed and her audits flicked forth once more, a sigh of relief heavily escaping her. oh.

oftentimes it was difficult for her to not think of the male whose pups she carried, but it was all in a day's work as far as she was concerned. there were so many white wolves roaming alacritia today that she could hardly tell the difference between one and the next. her growing proximity alerted her to the fact that this particular femme bore cerulean optics, which further eased her fears. jupiter was thankful for the sterling silver of marvel's orbs, as a common color such as blue or yellow would have had her double-taking everywhere she went.

a warning snarl slipped from the devil's throat, his obsidian fur raising on end. jupiter chastised him with a sharp tap of her tail upon his side, and then threw a smile in the stranger's direction. the routine of being able to get out of the lands and visit here did wonders for her hormonal attitude, which was lucky for this creature considering the fact that she wasn't compelled to be a hell-fire spitting demon by chemicals she had no control over.

"greetings," she spoke affably. "what brings a gal like you to the battlefields tonight?"

crawl. crawl more. drag your hands and knees across the destruction left in my wake to the ends of the earth. there's a green light of a shining star in my sky and there will not be an obstacle i will not overcome until i cup that star in my palms. the void in my will has been filled with purpose. so crawl. crawl more, love.
because i like it when you're on your knees.

Whispers of the haunting past did decorate the grounds in a morbid light. Crimson bathed the world in illusions giving the world a gory feel. Violet eyes silently watched in the shadows. Soaking in the world of violence and politics. So many wandered the realm of pain and agony. Searching for a fix. She watched as the queens and kings descended. Collecting specimens to dissect and reform. Yet, only her mother seemed to care not for such things. She allowed freedom where others gave control. She saw encouragement for oddities where others demanded change. She never pulled a noose around their necks and cared for their opinions. It was something she admired and hoped to aspire to continue the tradition.

She watched the dreamer wandered the ashes of tomorrow. She observed the odd way she wandered, seeking something, or perhaps someone? She knew nothing of the stranger or the prejudice that plagued her heart. Her mother was an open heart and neutral to the bone. Racism was an unknown illness that she had yet to encounter. Perhaps today would be the day she learned a new lesson.

She remained hidden in the shadows. Contemplating approaching the scene when the queen of another world came searching for the loner. That was fast. She thought. Ravens fly to carrion. She all but snickered in her head. queens should stay in kingdoms and send their knights to do the recruiting. Especially when the youth of the world depends on it. so many thoughts and yet nothing was uttered aloud. She merely watched the show.

She withdrew her behemoth figure from the confines of the shadows. Allowing her thick gray, black, and violet coat to shine against the blood raged moon. Her gaze lingered over the queen?s belly. An unspoken question in her gaze as she turned her attention to the newcomer with eyes as unkind as the sea. Nothing escaped her lips. She merely watched them and waited.
