Travelling and adventure excited the young she wolf as she ran away from home. Song ran with joy through what she once called her territory, she ran right past the boundaries she used to patrol. Her heart was pounding at the exhilaration that the freedom gave her. Her every move had been carefully watched ever since her birth, and now there was no one. Free. Free from the drills and lessons and the hours and hours poured into training.

Song was able to decide what to do. It was her choice how to put her training into use. Did she want to run her parents pack? Heck to the no. Being accountable for all of those old cranky beings, she hated hunting for them as it was. No one would have ever known it though. Novel always insisted that we mind our elders. Some of those rules were just awful. Song was so much happier to be with out Novel.

Survival training had been nice though. Thank goodness Dutiron thought of those lessons. In reality those lessons were the only time she had spent with her father. He was a wonderful being, he knew where her limits were and how far he could push her. The white wolf smiled at the thought of her father. Novel was so protective of her lesson time, Song had to sneak away from duties at times to spend lessons with Dutiron.

Song padded through the forests, her feet taking her no where in particular. Taking care of herself was a lot more fun than she had been expecting as well. Hunting all on her own had been a challenge at first. She just let herself get too excited. After a moment of breathing, it was like the rabbit just hopped into her mouth. Actually it had, Song had coughed which startled the bunny into leaping from the bush in front of her. It darted for its hole unintentionally landing in her open jaws.

But it had been a few weeks since that occurred. She'd scavenged a bit off of some ground bird eggs. The parents hadn't been too happy about that. A bit of fur was missing from her hind quarters because of that one.

There were few scents to be had across her path, it was as though as soon as she decided to leave home the earth had become devoid of her species. It had been weeks since she had spotted, or smelled, one of her kind. Which in some cases was probably a good thing. Being on her own was the best thing that had ever happened to her, but it was incredibly dangerous. Her whole life she had the beck up of her parents. There was no one to call for back up anymore.

Not that she was getting ready for any fights, but wolves were incredibly unpredictable. She could usually talk her way out of things, but not everyone listened to reason. She was ready for pack life again, what she wasn't ready for was having to accept another's leadership. She just had to keep telling herself that it wouldn't be as bad as Novel.

She could smell the pack now, they were fairly close so she hoped it wouldn't take very long for someone to notice her. It was weird that she was going to try and gain acceptance, she had always granted wolves permission into her territory. Song wasn't exactly sure of the whole situation now that it was tured around. She knew it was better to get it over with.

Sog threw her head back into the sky gracefully, her maw open and ready for the howl to dance from her lips. Notes cascaded out of her quietly at first, her confidence built with the sound and in moments her voice could clearly be heard.

She just come back from a hunt, dragging the carcass of a deer back into camp. There wasn't really much she could do, Jupiter had things settled and the small pack was doing fine. There was no wolf trying to cause trouble and their hunting was fine. So out of bored so she went out patrolling, bringing down the deer who had crossed her path. She had to admit, this girl did not want to go down and put up one hell of a fight. It had been awhile since Aria got that much excitement.

Before leaving camp the shewolf had taken her fill, munching on the leg, clearing it of any meat then was off once again. Paws carried her through the land, passing trees, on her way to the borders. A shiver ran down her spine when she had come to a stop, the chill of the coming snow and harsh winter creeping into the lands. She was excited yet also disappointed, food would become harder to find and the temperature would drop, chilling her to the bone.

Suddenly a voice filled the air, ears perked up, swiveling in the direction it was coming from. From the sound of it, it was a summoning call, not too far away and outside the border. Hm... a potential member? She wondered, a brow raising. Eve if it wasn't someone looking to join she still needed to check it out, so her body twisted, paws carrying her in the direction the howl had come from.

Being close to where the wolf was, Aria made it there in a matter of minutes. Forest green eyes fell upon a white woman, waiting patiently for somebody to approach her. With a dip of her head she approached, calm, friendly, her head held high to show she held a high rank within her pack but also not being full of herself. Greetings stranger, I am Aria. What can I help you with today? She asked in a friendly tone, her stump of a tail wiggling behind her, ears perked up and facing forward.

Sounds were picked up quickly, Song could hear the other wolf much quicker than she saw her. She lowered her tail and head a bit before the other she wolf entered her vision. What met her eyes was quite a sight.

She held herself proudly, head held high and obviously a member of high rank. She slightly reminded Song of her mother, Novel. She wasn't Novel though, very much obviously. While Novel was mostly white, This she wolf was a color Song had never encountered before. She was quite beautiful, but something had scarred her.

She also smelled as though she had just made a kill Song's belly growled at her. She smiled at the wolf opposite her.

Greetings stranger, I am Aria. What can I help you with today?

Song's tail started wagging involuntarily, "Hello, my name is Song." She said cooly, trying not to show the excitement that was racing through her veins, "I am looking to join a pack, you wouldn't happen to be accepting new members?" She couldn't wipe the smile off her face.

Aria smiled at the shewolf, pelt white as snow and mismatched eyes. Though she didn't really see them much, she thought it was beautiful, each eye showing off a different color. Oh how she wished she was born with it, she had to acquire the ones she had now through a wolf's silly jealousy, but that didn't even count since one had lightened in color due to injury and blindness.

Pushing her thoughts aside, the shewolf's ears twitched as the woman spoke, introducing herself as Song and explaining she was looking to join a pack and asked if they were accepting new members. The sandy colored shewolf gave a nod of her head with a smile, clearing her throat before speaking. It is a pleasure to meet you Song and nice to hear you have come to Ludicael in your search for a pack. We don't have certain times that we accept members, it is open at all times. She gave a light chuckle. I am Ludicael's Borealis, the Beta Female.

She let that sink into the girls head for a few moments, the smile still there as she watched her. With a dip of her head the woman's legs folded beneath her, taking a seat before Song. We are a neutral pack, in my own opinion, we are pretty laid back and friendly but still hold respect for each other. If you would really like to join then I will go over our laws and explain ranks.

Song listened intently as the beta explained about joining Ludicael and herself. Aria was the beta of the pack, Song was a tad surprised at being able to attract the attention of someone so high up the ranking list. This sounded like somewhere she could call home again. In reality she was just thrilled to have another wolf in her presence. Her second blessing was that Aria was so friendly, there had been more than enough unfriendly ones on her journey to last her a life time. The smile was still plastered to her face

We are a neutral pack, in my own opinion, we are pretty laid back and friendly but still hold respect for each other. If you would really like to join then I will go over our laws and explain ranks.

She couldn't nod fast enough, wanting so bad to join the family. "I want very bad to join your pack, Aria." She said grinning as she also took a seat. "This land is very different from what I'm used to so I'd love a guide."

She looked past the other wolf into the territory. Her hopeful new home, she was so excited. It was time for a new start and a new life. With out her mother's constant nit picking and control she could do so much. She couldn't wait to start meeting the other wolves in the pack. And she hoped she would be able to befriend Aria. She really wanted to know her story.

She could not help but chuckle lightly at Song's reaction, giving a nod of her head as the girl expressed how bad she wanted to join Ludicael. She had even noted how it was different from what she was used to and would love to have a guide. That is wonderful news Miss Song, follow me and I shall show you around and explain how we run. With that she gave a small nod of her head before pushing herself up, paws turning and carrying her into the mangroves. Most of the territory is made up of mangrove, and as you near the ocean there will be a beach spread along the shore with sand and rocks here and there.

Song followed suit with Aria's motions. Her legs extended ad she was stadig once more, ready to be taken around the territory. It would be an exciting trip, she hoped. Most of the territory was mangroves. This would definitely be an interesting place to live. She was really exited aout the beach, one of her favorite places to go was the ocean. Maybe along the way she would be able to ask aria some questions. She was eager to get all the pack information she could from the other she wolf. She just followed Aria, waiting for the next tidbit of information she could get.

With her tail wagging she happily loped through the territory of her new home.

ooc: Let's just pretend Aria went through most of the Ludicael territory. My muse is low with this thread and I don't wanna keep you waiting any longer.

Well, that is about it. I'm sure I covered most of the territory. The shewolf spoke with a smile coming to a stop in a small clearing in the mangroves. Her forest green gaze fell upon the white female who she was already starting to like and could see them being good friends. Though, I did more talking about the lands than the actual pack. She laughed, whole body shaking with laughter for a few moments before coming to a stop. To start, the number one rule of just about any pack. Respect, listen, and follow whatever the Sol says. She is to be listened to at all times when it involves the pack.

Song was very happy to be part of a brad new pack it was time to start new. Aria would help her with that, with all of the friendly helpfulness Song was sure to excel here. She was excited about getting to know the other she wolf better, they would be fast friends. She was already liking being in her presence. She let herself laugh with Aria, what a good day.
The rules were simple enough, just like her mother's pack. It would be easy to follow them, she already had a growing respect for her Sol, and she had not even heard her name yet. "Thank you for showing me around Aria, with your help I don't feel too lost. She smiled playfully I can't wait to meet her. She wondered when the Sol would have time to introduce herself, she was in no hurry though she knew how busy things could get around the packlands.

The young woman was friendly, and respectful. Aria was starting to like her and could see them getting along just fine. When they had come to a stop though and she explained the number one rule Song accepted it and commented on being excited about meeting her. She chuckled at this, sitting back on her haunches and smiling at the girl. Now for the rest of our laws, they are pretty easy to follow. She cleared her throat. The Sol will not interfere with our lives, just mae sure you do not cause trouble for the pack and if you are taking a mate she doesn't need to approve it, all she wants is for you to notify her if your expecting pups. If the mother is in Ludicael then she will be expected to raise the children here if the father is not part of the pack. When you come upon a tresspasser, they are to remain at the border and if they resist then you are allowed to use force. Stay with the tresspasser f they wish to speak with the Sol, a high ranked wolf will appear when you howl to escort the wolf. She also encourages her members to challenge for ranks, but she must be present during it.

The woman had made sure she spoke slow to allow the laws to process in the woman's head. If you have no questions then I shall expain our ranks and then you may choose whichever fits you, a warrior must have a spar with me or our Sol though to see if it will be a right rank for you. She explained before finally shutting her mouth, waiting.

Song's pretty white ears were trained on Aria's every move, she didn't want to miss a single word. She dual colored eyes softly found themselves on Aria's pretty form, Song was still curious to her Injuries but she thought it too rude to ask. Maybe she would be given the story someday. Her sweet smile brightened at the other she wolf's chuckle, she was glad to hear such a jubilant sound. She let the laws that the beta gave her sink in, she would need this information in the coming weeks and months as she adjusted to the new environment.
Everything seems pretty straightforward I'm curious about the ranks though. She fell silent to allow Aria to continue.

She gave a small nod of her head as Song told her that everything she understood, but was curious about the ranks. Ears swiveling to the side, the shewolf cleared her throat, but kept that smile. As any pack, we have different levels of ranks that the wolves here earn with hard work, their abilities, and respect. She began, but paused to reach around and nibble at he shoulder, getting an inch for a moment then looked back to the shewolf before her.

Starting at the bottom are the Orbitas. These are wolves who don't have a specialty, they are thinking and working on which area they will go into. They are unsorted. There are Plutans, but you don't need to worry about getting that rank, those are pups. Her lips pulled back into a toothy grin. Making up most of the pack are Lunavs which are hunters, Iridias that are our warriors, and then there are the Auroras, they are healers. Aria stopped, head tilting tot the side, watching the female. She was curious as to what she would choose, but had a feeling she might choose to become a Lunav or Aurora.

The next ranks are ones earned with respect and hard work. They may accept wolves at the borders. She raised a brow slightly before continuing on. Gravitors, respected members that must seek a higher ranked wolf before making any pack involved decisions. A Celeste, a higher ranked wolf who has leadership skills but won't exactly step up if the Betas are gone. Then there are me, Borealis, high ranked and respected Betas, we can make decisions but of course anything major must be run by with the Sol who are our Alphas.

It was a lot to take in but Aria was sue Song could handle it, she seemed to be an intelligent woman. Those are the ranks, from the unsorted to the highest rank... Which one do you think you fit into?

Aria explained the ranks with seasoned grace, it was obvious she had done this a few times. Every word defined the ranks perfectly and Song had no trouble memorizing the ranks and what they were. She would have to keep them in her mind for future reference if she came across her pack members. For now though she would need to decide what it was she wished to be in the pack. She was certainly no warrior, though she had plenty of training in the art. She had never enjoyed it much though. Hunting and Healing were both subjects she excelled in, though she felt healing to be more her calling. She wanted to help the pack as much as she could, and through healing she felt that she would be able to help the most.
Her decision was made, I think I would like to be an Aurora. She smiled at the words. It seemed to fit well. She could get used to calling herself a healer. What type of duties should I be expecting to take on?

Aria waited as the woman thought about the ranks, choosing which one would fit her best. And after a few moments she spoke up, telling the Borealis that she would like to be an Aurora. The shewolf smiled and gave a nod of her head, ears perking up as she continued to ask what duties she would be expected to take on. An excellent choice Miss Song. We have another healer in Ludicael, a fine man by the name of Marvel. She informed her, she lowered the front half of her body, stretching out her limbs for a few moments before puling herself back up.

As an Aurora you will be treating wounds that our members receive, ranging from a small cut, sickness, and possibly childbirth. She listed a few. Just healer duties, and maybe even watch some pups if the parents go out on a hunt or to their duties.

The duties seemed to be what she was expecting, watching pups seemed incredibly exciting. She wondered if there were any in the pack right now. She took in the information that was given, she would not be the only healer. Marvel would have to be one that she met in the near future, she wondered if he could even be able to teach her something. Her shaman father, Dutiron had taught her much of the art. The plants here seemed quite similar to the ones back home, she figured it would be easy enough to apply the same knowledge from her training.
She was curious about her new life as a pack member, going from princess to healer, she couldn't wait. Here she could be judged for who she was on the inside and not the princess who had existed on the outside. She was just Song now. That sounds entirely doable, I can not wait to perform for you! She smiled and lifted her head a little higher, proud to call Ludicael her new home. She was proud to be a healer for them. Will you introduce me to Jupiter, or should I try and find her? She was excited to meet her new Sol.

Since Jupiter is in a DM and Star is busy lets just say they are going to her now.

I'm sure you will do a wonderful job. We will bring you deeper into the territory to meet her, follow me. With that she shewolf gave a dip of her head and motioned for the woman to follow her. With Jupiter having had her children it would be best to bring the woman to her instead of having her travel away from her pups who needed her. And if she was resting then she would speak to Deteste. Aria had a feeling this girl would be a great addition, adding a little something special to brighten her days and the others. The pack could use a very friendly wolf other than herself.

Song

Song nodded happily as Aria agreed to take her to meet the alpha. It would have probably taken her a while to find the she wolf had she attempted on her own. Wonderful! She wasn't sure the reasoning, but she would soon find out.. She moved to follow Aria, her body relaxed and ready to meet the wolf she would call Sol. With a skip in her step she followed the beta deeper into the beautiful territory.
