She was much fresher since talking to Cascade, she'd stopped and bathed and had been alone for more than a few hours. The decision had pretty much been made, there really wasn't any going back. Still, words, communications.. she craved that from Valen almost as much as she craved him physically. She wanted to talk about the little family they'd started yesterday as much as she wanted to continue making it. She smiled softly, the expression seemingly glued to her face because once she'd been free of Cascade she hadn't been able to remove it. There was a nice little skip to her step as she made her way back to the barn. She didn't know if he might be lingering here liked she hoped he might, but it was a good place to start. Her lithe frame made its way easily into the Range, the barn was spotted quickly but she didn't see Valen's form so easily. Perking her ears and looking about she'd let out a quick bark, just in case he was here and she couldn't see him. ""

text Curled up under his beloved tractor, Valentine was able to watch Rhythm's approach without fear of being spotted. He wasn't hiding per se, but the weeds had grown up tall and gnarled around the dead metal beast and created a cool, dark hollow underneath it that even the sharpest eyes would struggle to cut through. The corners of his mouth lifted in a soft smile as it became clear that Rhythm's interest was on the barn. Perhaps she had decided to take him up on his suggestion? He certainly hoped so. Valentine watched as Rhythm paused to look around, her questioning bark deepening his smile. She expected to find him here. It wasn't even a question of "are you here?" so much as "where are you hiding?" and that furthered his amusement. Sliding out from under the tractor, Valentine paused to arch his back in a cat-like stretch before trotting towards her. He aimed to approach on Rhythm's left, to brush up against her side and pause once they were standing abreast to place an affectionate kiss on her cheek. By now the sun was high overhead, but it hadn't been more than a few hours since they'd last been here together. "Missing me already?"

Her call would not go unanswered, and with every grace of an almost four foot tall wolf could muster he would appear from beneath an old metal sculpture that lingered near the barn. Her expression quickly shifted from concerned and searching him out to bright and enthusiastic about his presence. Rhythm slowed to a halt as he brushed past her shoulder and placed a sweet kiss on her cheek. She'd lean into his touch, unable to remove the grin on her features. "Missing me already?" A chuckle slipped past her lips at his words. "Always." She'd return his kiss, swiveling her head slightly to reach his muzzle and pepper them lightly there. "Valen," Her voice grew serious, but also quieter. It was soft and innocent but completely sincere. "Lets make some babies together." She'd grin even more broadly as she searched his gaze, yes pregnancy and birth were going to be scary and dangerous, but already she wanted these pups deeply. ""

"Always," she tittered back with a kiss, causing the corners of his mouth to rise slightly in a warm smile. On the heels of that statement came one that took him aback. His surprise was evident, his eyebrows rising and the corners of his mouth momentarily depressing as he processed what she had just said. Was she serious? She was, wasn't she? He'd never slept with someone for the purpose of creating children. Of course he loved his children and he'd been excited by each pregnancy, but not once had he ever considered conception in the moment. Leaning against her, Valentine sought to nuzzle Rhythm's cheek affectionately. "Is that what you want?" Was she sure? What had brought this about, this sudden talk of babies where none had been hours before? Or had he just been clueless? He wondered if she'd been thinking on it for some time or was a spur of the moment decision. Somewhat distracted, he toyed with her left ear. "Kids?"

His surprise was more than evident, but she wouldn't let it dampen her enthusiasm. She'd giggle at his unsaid question as he recovered, offering him another kiss to help clear his thoughts. Valen would recover enough to question her as he leaned in to her form. She had obviously sprung this on him, despite what Cas had said he was not expecting them in the forefront of his mind like she had. Was this what she wanted? To offer him children of her own flesh, making a family together. "I do." Her words were genuine and her expression bright and loving. While she really hadn't been expecting them at all earlier that morning she didn't think her mind could be changed now. "Besides, they're more than likely an inevitability at this point." If they didn't want them they'd first have to see if she was pregnant from their fun that morning, if she wasn't then she could start on those herbs and keep from getting pregnant afterwards. Not only was it more effort than she wanted to put (in keeping celibate that long) but she wanted these babies with him. ""
