Looking For Angels

Birds sounded their melodic tunes as she walked across the ground. Above her, the sun filtered through the thick foliage as the flora hid their residents. She'd never been here before, the place was fascinating with all the different birds flying overhead as they called their alarms with her approach. Beneath her paws, the ground felt damp underfoot, a sign that this place was thriving with life. She could hear the honking of geese, the rough call of ducks and the other tones from various other fowl. Who knew that one place could be so full of life!? Feeling a sense of awe here, she started into a slow jog in her quest to find the body of water that lied in the middle of it all. As she pressed through a thinner part of the reeds and cat tails, she saw upon the waters tons of water fowl. And catching her by surprise, she jerked her paws back as a line of ducklings ran past her, the mother hissing at Avalon in warning as she passed. She laughed a bit, she wasn't going to hurt the creatures here...this place brought on a sense of peace that she didn't want to disturb nor destroy.
