ooc: We've decided that Rhythm will be the patient and Integra the healer

Integra stiffened slightly as the other wolves trickled in. The sense that she shouldn't be here increasing with ever set of pawsteps. Particularly when she felt Valen's eyes on her. Shit. Had she done something wrong? Integra braced herself to be scolded and chased out of the gathering but the lecture never came. Valentine exchanged a glance with Cascade then moved to sit down. Integra tried to take steady breaths. She didn't want everyone knowing how nervous she was. As Vana moved to sit next to her though she felt a strange sense of relief at the other girls presence and while she felt the other girls eyes on her it wasn't a cold calculating gaze of suspicion. Integra adjusted her focus to Cascade as she laid out the tasks for them. She leaned forward a bit in anticipation, nearly grinning at their assignments. Sounded like fun! She glanced to Rhythm and as they were paired up she moved to the older woman. "Hello," she spoke softly, "how are you today? So, who should we have be the healer and who shall be the patient?" It made sense for the older woman to decide. She was free after all.

Rhythm would hear that she and Integra would be paired up for their little activity and the results would make her smile and look to the young healer. They'd spent a little bit of time together already, their little herb gathering had been informative for the girl. She'd learned a little about her as well. She wanted to know as much as she could, but really strove for learning battle field techniques. She'd have to have a lot of knowledge for that anyway, as well as being able to think fast. Watching as her partner found her way over to her side Rhythm would smile at the greeting and take the offer to decide who would do what task. "Hello again, Integra. I'm doing well, how about you?" She'd offer a friendly smile, "I thought maybe I would be the patient? I've had a little more experience in real life healing so maybe the exercise will help you a little more if you were diagnosing." Not that she had any doubt Cascade would have done her best to challenge her mind as well. ""

Integra nodded. "I'm doing pretty good, I've been studying very hard." The girl grinned as Rhythm stated that she would be the patient. "Really? Thanks Rhythm, I appreciate. I'll do my best." This was her chance! She'd been studying so hard and at last she had a moment to show what she'd been learning and maybe impress the Ex Utor. Her current position was always at the front of her mind even when she tried not to let it get the best of her. One step forward. Always one step forward, if she could keep taking a step every day she knew she'd reach her goal.
