Sundered

"Go! Now!" The voice rang in the young girl's ears, almost deafening. The last thing she would see was the pain filled expression that filled the older woman's face as her throat was torn. Blood gushed as she collapsed to the ground, body flailing and twitching. She tried so hard not to look in the direction the free girl had run, or else all of it would have been for nothing. But things had already gone bad, the woman was caught and killed, and now the two males hovering over her body had caught the scent of their escaped pet.
Tera sat, back pressed hard against the stone wall, the entrance to where she hid blocked by the raging waters of a fall. Limbs trembled, body thin with starvation and full of fear. She was filthy, her once pale coat now looking as if she had rolled in dirt, small scrapes across her face and legs.

After the help she received from the boy who called himself Zenkai, Zanire thought it was time for her to move from that place and find a spot where she could really start getting better. It was this that brought the bear to some falls once more, similar to the other one but this was raised higher and the surrounding area seemed a bit more calm and isolated. That was until she could smell wolves in the area, not a pack but it was enough to be noticeable and make Zanire a bit wary.
Lumbering forward she would move cautiously, purple gaze running over the place and nose taking in the scents that weaved through the air. Blood. Brows came together and a low growl rumbled in the beasts throat, head lowering as she grew close to the falls.

Something large was moving outside the cavern, big enough to wear the girl could hear its heavy breathing under the falls. Ama would gulp, pushing herself back against the walls, paws moving with the push to bring her to the side and back corner of the place. Jaws were held apart, breathing through her mouth to prevent it from being loud enough to be heard, slow and and light. Then there was a growl. Eyes went wide and the girl would yelp, jumping to her paws and charging for the exit she had come from but quickly skidded to a halt when it was blocked by a large scary looking bear. Claws scraped along the stone as she scrambled backwards, turning around and frantically running to the other end of the ledge looking for a way out of here and hopefully fast enough so that the bear couldn't grab a hold of her.
