(set after meeting, can be vague about ranks but we can assume sin announced para's)

She had asked the man to step aside so they could talk, giving a wave of her tail before moving away from the gathered wolves. Paws would carry her out of the oasis, not really to the side of them but it would give them some privacy to speak. In a way, she kind of wanted somebody to notice, her father in particular or maybe her brothers. More for shits and giggles rather than seriously annoy them, after all, she was their only sister, the newest litter being all boys.

In the plains the snow white wolf would sit beside a thin stream, head held high and tail neatly laying over her paws, awaiting Xephyris to join her.

Xephyris had noticed her gesture, inviting him aside after the meeting - his silver eyes couldn't be stopped from shifting in her direction a little too often. Glancing around quickly, the young man slunk away from the gathering, hoping not to be noticed. He had been late, and he was sure their leader would seek him out for punishment. Now he was slinking after Sin's daughter. Was he crazy? He grinned to himself as he watched her hips swaying ahead of him, then picked up his pace to come to her side.

He followed her to the stream, joining her as she seated herself by the water. He placed himself a few feet away from her, staring into the water's surface. "Congratulations on your new position, Paradox" he said, glancing upon her reflection in the slowly moving water, "Heir to Hellstrom... you're a very important wolf now. You won't have time to mingle with the commoners after this." He chuckled slightly, shrugging his shoulders. Still not looking at her directly, he spoke again. "I'm Xephyris," he mentioned - he knew she had seen him around since Sonticus, but they had never spoken directly to one another, "Pleasure to finally meet you."

He followed without hesitation, falling in step beside her and taking a seat a little distance away when they reached the stream. First thing to be said, a congratulations towards her new position within Hellstrom. The woman smirked, huffing lightly as she held her head high in pride. ”It was about time I got it.” She said simply, tone strong, making it clear that she had been expecting this or at least knew she deserved such a position. ”I was important since day one, I mingled with only those who deserved it anyway.” Tone was light, raising a brow in short amusement as she glanced towards the man.

Xephyris. At last she had a name to match with the man’s face, and for amusement purposes, her creeper. ”A pleasure.” She replied back simply, giving a small dip of her head before looking straight ahead and into the plains. Silence would fall upon the two wolves, the young woman thinking of how she would share her information with the man and what she would begin to share with him. "As you heard, my father has plans for this place." She begin, voice low so this conversation would stay between the two. "But, I have plans of my own. Which brings me to you." Blue gaze turned to the man, narrowing, growing hard. "I can't share what my plans are just yet, but I would like for you to join me, first as a loyal and hard-working Hellstrom member, then later... something greater." She would give a pause. "Interested, Xephyris?"

Xephyris glanced over at Paradox as she began to speak. He grinned wider, amused, as he watched her hold herself higher. Soon after the introductions were done, the blue-eyed woman spoke in a low tone, causing Xeph to lean in closer to hear. She was planning something, and although she remained secretive, it sounded interesting. When she asked him to join her, he could hardly refuse. He just hoped it wasn't anything that would require him to choose between loyalties, but she claimed that he would need to be a loyal and hard-working Hellstrom wolf first; that sounded good to him.

"Well of course I'll join you," he rumbled in a low voice, "Just tell me what you'd have me do... I'll let you use me however you like." He offered her a devious wink, tail flicking behind him. He was very curious to find out what she had in mind, but he supposed he would have to wait until the time came. Until then, he'd have to get to know her a little more. "So, what can you tell me?" he asked, quirking a brow as he tilted his head.

The confirmation to join would bring a perk to the girl's ears, eyes narrowing the faintest and lips pulling in a pleased grin. Excellent, he would be the first to aid in her mission. Things would begin very soon, beginning with preparation and the gathering of others. The man would want to know what she needed of him, giving her permission to use him however she liked, winking. ”My my,” she cooed quietly, tail brushing against his hip as she too winked before looking out over the grasses.

When it came to what she could share with him for now, Paradox chuckled in a light manner. ”Prepare yourself. Spars, and don't be shy in asking me for some.” Dark blue eyes was redirected towards his own gaze, tongue running over her fangs. ”Clean I may be, but I do enjoy getting dirty.” Tone held a light growl to it, her words meaning one thing or another, depending on how he took it. ”Refrain from giving information about yourself, give a false name and lie about your intentions with others.” It was asking a lot, things she wasn't fully sure he would be able to do completely. But she would give him the benefit of the doubt. ”Observe without being seen, take notes of sights and smells, nit pick your abilities and weaknesses.” She paused, smiling uncomfortably sweet. It was all important to follow. "I do not take kindly to being crossed, do you understand?"

Xephyris smirked, eyes narrowing in amusement as she cooed and brushed her tail against his hip, winking back at him. She seemed pleased with his decision to aid her, and more importantly, she seemed amused by his words and gestures. As she looked over the grassy plains, he had to break his gaze from her, getting a little too caught up in the double meanings of their words, his pelt burning where her tail had touched. Silver eyes cast out over the dry, flat landscape, ears tilting toward Paradox as she began to give him a rundown on what she expected. He felt her gaze return to him, so he glanced sidelong at her, instantly caught in her dark blue glare again. And yet again, her words could be taken in more ways than one as a light growl rumbled with her lyrics, tongue running across her teeth. Xeph bit his lip, saying nothing and just barely restraining a growl from leaving his throat. I must have this woman, he thought greedily, trying to interrupt his thoughts from focusing on his desire to wrap his paws around her waist.

There were more important things to think about first - he'd have to make himself useful and prove his worth before he came close to getting what he wanted. He needed to get stronger, he needed to rise in the ranks. He needed to make a name for himself. Taking a breath, he focused his attention on Paradox's words, quirking a brow with interest as she asked him to keep his identity a secret. To seek information, sneak around and lie. This vixen would have him wrapped around her paw in no time. "Sounds like you know how to have fun," he said with amusement, then trying to be a little more serious, he rumbled, "Are we talking secrecy with outsiders, or should I remain reserved with the pack as well?" He had no trouble keeping quiet and to himself, and he had always been a keen observer.

Then she would smile, a sickeningly sweet smile that just didn't seem right. Her next words would be a warning to him that she would not tolerate a traitor. Xephyris grinned back at her, meeting her eyes with his cold silver gaze. "Neither do I, my dear," he responded with a slight edge, his tone low and gravelly, "So you needn't worry about me crossing you. I may be cruel to my enemies, but to my pack, loyalty is everything." Silence followed his words as he stared at her, the grin never leaving his face. How far could he push her? What would she tolerate, and at what point did she swipe her claws across his muzzle?
