Where are all the boogeymen?
Once upon a time these woods had scared the brute. His dad had told him stories about it to keep him in line and one peek across the border had been enough to make him believe. Not anymore. Now he walked among the trees without an ounce of fear; now he was curious. It wasn't idle curiosity that brought him here. Angelus was on the prowl. His newly discovered power was making him restless. He wanted to do more; to try new things and push boundaries. That victory had opened his eyes to a world of possibility. He wanted more. |
The boy got away when he could - no matter how dangerous he knew it could be. Just to have time to clear his head and think. While he may have had a level head on his shoulders, if he let chaos rule his life well he knew what that would do. Heavy paws would carry the nearly yearling across the forest floor, stopping in his tracks when the scent of another hit his nose. Different colored orbs hitting the form of the giant. Ears pulling forward Rivaxorus could smell the danger on his pelt imperium. However - it wasn't danger to him it was something of a curious matter. The prince had only seen imperium once. Which was in a mass amount. Their size and numbers fascinated him and the reason his mother hated them baffled the boy. Rivaxorus was already large himself, he looked nearly like a yearling at his height but you could tell by his scent the lack of maturity.
Rivaxorus wasn't actually sure how to approach the other. Their packs were enemies right? But he was the heir, if he could do anything at all to talk among Imperium to learn about them it would be his dream. After all, it would hurt would it. Creeping closer - the boy would make sure to just keep his distance in case the other didn't want to interact. He wasn't going to push his presence. "Hey - you're from Imperium aren't you? Man you're even bigger in person." he would start with that. Rivaxorus smiled a bit, he would stay suspicious but his demeanor was almost political. He wanted to make a connection rather than a fight. Hopefully he didn't offend him by mentioning his size.
His eyes narrowed as he turned to face the boy. Why was he talking to him? He should have high tailed it the moment he laid eyes on an Imperium wolf, not brought attention to himself. This close to Imperium and all alone? This kid was either crazy or dumb. He was inviting trouble. "Are you stupid? Get lost!" He needed to leave. Now. Angelus wouldn't take no for an answer. |
